Leaving

Shirayuki rushed inside Zen's office with a look of desperation.

"Is it true?" She asked. Her eyes were petrified and her body shook. The tears were threatening to come out.

She didn't want to believe them.

She couldn't.

The white haired boy turned around and beside him was the boy that she would never see again.

"Young Mistress-"

"Don't call me that! How can you leave?" She asked walking over.

Zen walked up to her and held her back. His warm hand gripped her own, but she didn't care.

Obi was leaving her.

"I'm sorry, but I have to do this mission." He spoke softly. "She needs me again and this is urgent."

By she, he meant the same girl who asked him for help before.

"Will you come back?" She asked breaking away from Zen.

"No." He answered. "I can't stay long at places and besides I have no one to protect, Master has his friends and you have Master."

"I need you." She answered. Zen nodded softly at Obi and left the room.

"Please come back Obi." He said softly closing the door.

"Master?" Obi mumbled softly.

"I need you Obi." She said once more. "And you said you were never going back remember?"

"I have no interest in giving up the reins master has given me and returning to my former life."

Obi remained silent.

"I'm depending on you!" She continued looking at him.

"I'll be depending on you from now on."

She walked up to the quiet boy and gripped onto him.

"Please don't leave us, don't leave me." Obi knew that if he did this he can never return.

Slowly he gripped her face and stared into her eyes.

"Eh?"!

And he brought his lips to hers.

Shirayuki was shocked and as quick as he kissed her, his lips left her.

"I'm sorry Young Mistress." And with that he was gone.

"Obi!"
