Emily's POV
I sit bored in the thrown room, petting my ocelot. The memory of Herobrine's visit keeps entering my mind, not seeming like it wants to leave me alone. I keep worrying that he will come and destroy Minecraftia.
BOOM
I run over to the window and spot a figure dressed in all black look around nervously as it places a block of TNT near the castle wall. I lower my eyebrows in confusion. Then the black dressed man strikes the block with his gleaming diamond pick axe. I finally understand when I see thousands of creepers, skeletons and the other horrible creatures of the night flood out of the destroyed wall.
I stumble backwards in surprise, when the door opens behind me. I whirl around to see a guard (archer_does_minecraft) behind me with a rushed look on his face. He walks up to me and grabs my forearm.
"Come on we need to hurry," he says as he pulls me out the door.
I catch a quick glimpse of Jillian (jilliandoesmc) and Mariel (marielplaysminecraft) running through the twisted hallways. We are running over the enclosed bridge that connects one tower to the rest of the castle. I catch a glimpse out the one window and twist out of his grip once more. I slowly walk over to the window and rest my hands on the sill.
The rooftops of houses have gone up in flames. Hundreds of dead bodies lay scattered on the ground Minecraftian and mob a like. None of that prepared me for what happened next though.
Far below, in the middle of the carnage I spot the King. He wears his diamond helmet and wields his matching sword that now drips with blood and spider venom. As he hacks away at a zombie he fails to notice the creeper right behind him. I want to scream a warning to him but fear has frozen me in place. The creeper swells and bursts, sending him flying into the side of the blacksmiths. I watch in horror as he struggles to get up and my view is cut of by a hoard of zombies surrounding him. I gasp and take a step back from the window. Tears begin to blur my vision when I feel a hand gently placed on my shoulder. I simply glance at it and turn my attention back to the window.
"Please," he pleads. "We need to keep going."
I shrug off his hand and start to head across the bridge when I see a scrawny figure launch an arrow at me. I dodged it easily and prepare myself for battle. The guard draws his iron sword and takes the proper stance. The skeleton locks his next arrow into place when at least two dozen more mobs come up from behind him. Zombies stumble their way towards us as skeletons snipe from behind.
I swipe my dagger across the chest of the first zombie and stab the next in the throat and kicks its dead body away from me. I whirl around to a spider leaping at my face. I'm in mid slash when I'm sent flying from an explosion.
I rush to my feet and run towards the gap in the bridge. I check my options and make up my mind. I bend my knees and jump. Air whistles by as I make my descent. I frantically kick my way to the surface and gasp for air as I paddle my way to the riverbank. I'm over whelmed with grief and pain. The last thing I remember is two hands pulling me out of the water when I black out.
