Revelation 2.

I'm already inside my car. I haven't started it yet. And I'm also sorry Lord for not paying attention to the mass earlier. Masyadong pre-occupied ang isip ko sa mga nalaman ko. Honestly, I don't know how I should feel. Naghahalo halo yung sakit, lito, pandidiri, galit at lungkot. I know it's not our fault. I know I shouldn't blame him or myself. But I can't take it. I have to blame it on someone before I go insane. I'm not sure on what I'll do. Should I tell him first? My parents? Or.. what? I don't know. I've never been so confused and hurt all my life.

Nakatulala lang ako sa kawalan ng biglang magring ang phone ko. I looked at the screen and it was my mom calling. Talk about timing..

I took a deep breath before I pressed the answer button. "Yes mom?"

"Where are you? We're already at Blake's restaurant."

Oh right, it's been our routine every Sunday. After going to church deretso sa restaurant ni Blake. We don't go to church ng sabay because I don't live together with my parents, anymore.

"Jade? Are you still there? Hello?"

"Uh, still outside the church. I'm on my way. Ingat kayo."

"Okay anak. See you! Ingat ka rin."

Then the call ended. I have to make a decision quick. If I tell my parents about this, then they'll find Kent. My cousin. Ang kukuha ng lahat sa akin. If he stays as Blake, there wouldn't be a problem is there?

Alright. I've made up my mind. I'll just have to cut ties with him. It's better to cut ties with him and pretend I never met him. Mas importante ang mamanahin at ang pamilya ko kaysa sa relasyon namin. I admit, I loved him so much. No, scratch that.. I still love him. But I love my family and my inheritance more than him.. Masisira ang pamilya kapag nalaman nila. He's already my fiance, and it'll be a mess if they find out. This was supposed to be a chance for them to know that my long lost cousin has been there all along, but I won't tell them. Never.

I started the car. And as I was on my way, I dialed the number of the investigator.

"Hello Ma'am?"

"Rodolfo, gusto kong burahin mo lahat ng ebidensya na magpapatunay na siya nga ang pinsan ko. Walang pwedeng makaalam na siya ang pinsan ko. Lahat okay? Lahat."

"Makakaasa ka Ma'am."

"Idedeposito ko na lang sa account mo ang bayad."

"Salamat Ma'am."

So all that's left is.. for me to gather up my courage and think of a way for us to break up.

When I arrived at the restaurant, I couldn't keep my cool. Medyo nanlalamig mga kamay ko because I was nervous. I don't really know how to face Blake. I mean, I just found out he's my cousin. It's really gonna be awkward for me.

"Babe! What took you so long?" He walked towards me and kissed my cheek. I tried my best not to push him away..

"T-traffic kasi eh.."

"Wait, are you okay? You look like you're sick."

"I'm fine. Mainit lang kasi sa labas. Let's just go to my parents."

Ngumiti at tumango muna siya kahit medyo mukhang hindi siya satisfied sa sagot ko. It's hard. I couldn't even look at him straight in the eye.

Iginiya niya ako papunta sa parents ko. They were at our usual table. My mom saw me, and she waved her hand. My dad on the other hand was talking on the phone.

Tumabi ako sa mom ko, and kissed her cheek.

"Anak, how are you?"

"I'm fine mom, para namang hindi tayo nagkita the other day sa office."

"Iba pa rin kasi yung nakikita at nakakasama kita palagi. You don't even look too good right now. Anong fine dyan?"

"Mom, stop overreacting."

"Tita, Jade, I'll be at the kitchen. Asikasuhin ko lang sila dun."

I smiled and nodded.

"Okay iho. Sarapan mo ang pagluto ha."

"Tita naman, kailan po ba ako nagluto ng hindi masarap?"

My mom laughed. "Jinojoke ka lang eh. Hala sige, you go do your thing in the kitchen. Dito lang kami nila Jade."

Nang makaalis si Blake nakita ko si Dad na tapos nang makipagusap so I stood up and went to him to kiss his cheek. Then went back to my seat.

"Who were you talking to Dad? Sobrang serious naman yata."

"It was your Tito Kelvin, I invited both him and your Tita Love for lunch here."

Muntik na kong mabilaukan kahit wala naman akong iniinom o kinakain sa narinig ko. They don't usually spend their Sunday's with us, especially since nung nalaman nilang buhay pa si Kent. They spend their weekends trying to find Kent. Na hinaharang ko naman. I mess their investigation up. Kaya nga mas nauna kong nahanap si Kent.

"Looks like nadepress na naman si Love."

"Pang-ilang fake Kent na ba ang tumawag sa kanila? Sa dami ba naman nun, hindi malabong madepress talaga siya."

I couldn't help but feel bad for Tita and Tito. But if they find out... Everything will be ruined. For me and for our family.
