Monica Perez just wanted to take a nice drive with her boyfriend, Lewis, after being let out for summer vacation. The arrival of Fuller, Lewis' brother, causes some trouble as they retrieve an old CB radio and fuck around with a trucker known only as Rusty Nail.
But their fun is cut short when the man in the room next to them at a motel is assaulted by that same trucker, who didn't take kindly to their little practical joke. Now he's targeting them all, including Fuller's crush, Venna.
Car crashes, oil spillages, torched cornfields and loaded shotguns get in the way of these four friends and they're just trying to survive.
