"Come on Ibusaki, open the door!" you asked him again. You didn't know how many attempts had failed already. Why you were doing this? Ryouko had said the boy wouldn't come out no matter how many times she tried asking him to. "At least tell me why you won't come out!" Again, he didn't respond. You sighed. The auburn haired boy was in his room, you knew that for sure.
"Uhm. Maybe it's because of the bet he made with Ryouko-chan?" Startled by Tadokoro suddenly talking to you, you jumped a little. Since when had she been standing next to you? Also what was she talking about? "A bet? What kind of bet?" You were really curious about that now since you didn't even know that Ibusaki would make bets with someone. Tadokoro slightly shook her head though. "I'm sorry, I don't know any more than that but yesterday I saw those two talking and heard something about a bet." You nodded and thanked her. There should be a way to figure out what kind of bet it had been and who knew, maybe this bet was the reason the boy refused to even just open his door for anyone.
Doubting the auburn haired boy would tell you anything about it even if you asked, you decided to go and ask Ryouko. If she was the one he made a bet with, then she was sure to know what they were betting on and what the loser had to do. Who the loser was, was pretty obvious. Judging from his behavior it could only have been the boy who lost.

The gods weren't on your side today though and the purple haired girl refused to tell you anything other than the fact that you were right about who had lost the bet. Now you were pretty much where you had started. Knowing it was because of a stupid little bet didn't help at all. "Okay Ibusaki. I know you made that bet with Ryouko and I know you've lost it but sulking over it won't get you anywhere. Ryouko didn't want to tell me what your penalty for losing was but I doubt it's reason enough for shutting you in." No response. This would probably take the rest of the day if you didn't get a clue on how to get him out there soon.
"Oh damn it! I'll just stay here until you come out! Sooner or later you'll have to get out of your room!" You shouted annoyed and sat down opposite his door. There was no other way so if he went out he would have to go past you. He'd see that you weren't one to give up this fight.

Not giving up was a nice idea and all but you should know that you weren't the only one that hated losing. Waiting for probably several hours had come with a price and you soon were tired and ended up falling asleep right were you sat.

When he heard a sudden 'thud' from outside of his room the Prince of Smoke got curious and decided on looking what had happened. He opened the door just enough to be able to somewhat look at the hallway. While sleeping, you had fallen to the side and were now lying on the floor. Ibusaki decided to take a look at the time. It was pretty late already so he figured it would be natural for you to have fallen asleep. He didn't know how you managed to not wake up from suddenly falling to the side but you seemed to be soundly asleep.
Should he just leave you there? Well, it wasn't impossible to let you sleep there but it just wasn't right to do that. Then should he carry you to your room? He knew where your room was but you probably had it locked and he didn't want to search for the key that would have to be somewhere in your pockets. With those two options out of question he was only left to somehow carry you into his room. Sharing a bed with you wasn't exactly an idea that he liked and at the moment he wished he hadn't checked on you.
Anyway, he still walked up to you and carried you to his bed before closing his door again. He looked around his room. There were also the floor and the chair where he could possibly sleep. Thinking about it he decided that even if it meant sharing a bed with you it would be the best thing he could do in this situation. There was no way he'd survive a day of school after sleeping on either of the other possibilities.

When he lay next to you he remembered what you had said about his penalty for losing the bet with Sakaki. You probably wouldn't have said that if you knew what his task was. He didn't know why he had even agreed to that stupid bet in the first place. And why would Sakaki give him a task like that? He had been sure no one knew about his feelings. "If only you knew" he said quietly before closing his eyes and falling asleep too.
