Hey my name is Tariyah pronounced Tah-riy-ah but my close ones call me Tari or Riri for short, I come from Jamaica and Sierra Leone ,I'm 17 yrs young and in my first year of collage and to be honest I'm just your average girl with a twist.

"Alicia hurry up man ,I'm hungry"

I shouted to my best friend from outside of new looks changing rooms, as I waiting for her to try on her dress, she's been in there for ages.

"I'm coming, I'm coming man chill" I heard her shout back, I pulled out my iPhone 7 and went on to instagram to occupy myself, scrolling through my feed I liked some photos and accepted friend requests from people I knew, I then clicked onto snap chat and watched my other best friend Andreas snap to see she was doing some shoulder dance on her gold Segway, I laughed out loud as she lifted one leg up and dropped off at the end trying to whip.

I locked my phone and put it in my bag just as Alicia came out the changing room my jaw dropped as she stood in front of me looking amazing in an all white spaghetti strapped, backless bodycon dress that she paired with white platform heels ,the dress really complimented her curves and clear caramel skin tone.

"so what do you think" she grinned nervously

"Wow you look amazing Ali your gonna have mandem drooling and catching flies " I complemted her.

"you really think so "she looked at her reflection in a tall body length mirror "baby girl I know so" I said in an attempted ghetto American accent she laughed and walked back into the changing room closing the curtain behind her.

After Alicia changed we paid for our items and made our way to the food court.

"McDonalds orr..." I trailed of as I saw my instagram crush Tyrell and his twin brother Tyrone and what seemed to be some of their boys in the McDonalds queue , Alicia looked in the direction my eyes where fixed on and started laughing "whats wrong tari you alright " she teased poking my shoulder, I brushed her off and pulled her in the direction of kfc we ordered our meals and begun our search for a vacant table for us to sit down and eat.

"Ali you prepared for your party"I asked stuffing a few hot fries into my mouth before sitting down.
"not yet I was thinking of making it bring a plus one" she sighed and pulled out the chair infront of me and took a seat.

"If you want to ,do you think the hall is big enough? " I questioned

"To be honest Tari it depends on how many people come "she stressed

"Are you mad, a lot of people are talking about it and it's in 2 weeks" I raised a neatly done brow at her she started looking at something behind her.

"ummm tari your chocolate bae is coming over here you know" she grinned

"mhh okay that's nice" I said sipping on my drink "what" I semi-shouted realising what she just said I looked at the silver tissue dispenser placed on our table so I could see what she was talking about before choking on my drink "oh my gosh do I have anything in my teeth howdoyouknowheiscomingher" i whispered in a hurry.

She shakes her head as I pop a mint in my mouth "oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh" I mouthed to her just as he approaches "hi, you alright Alicia" he says to her with his eyes on me.

"yh I'm good thanks I'm gonna go look for a bin yh"she winked at me taking mines and her rubbish that sneaky bitch best believe she went to the furthest one she could find he sat in her seat and licked his pink plump lips with his eyes still on me "you alright yh"
