(( Third person pov ))

A girl walked the quiet streets of her hometown. It was raining, quite common seeing as it was storm season. She wore a dark (color) jacket to protect herself from the rain. Didn't help much because it didn't a hoodie of any sorts.

She was looking for a building. A building with an address she'd never seen before. A note had came in the mail just that morning asking her to come to said address. Why? To tell her story of how she transversed dimensions.

They all wanted to know, they not had said. Everything she said would be recorded, but not shared. Only kept in their secret society's archive.

The note went on to say how they collected atories similar to hers and collected evidence to see if it was real. Anything from alien abductions to, well, transversing dimensions. She would be their first dimension case. That's why they wanted her.

Why did she come? Because she was curious. A secret society? She was so in. Plus, this was the only chance she'd probably ever get to tell anyone what really happened. Well, without getting put into a mental institution.

Her phone beeped. She checked it and it said to turn right now. The only thing to her right was an all to familiar alleyway. The alleyway it all started in. She gulped and walked down it for the first time in a year and a half.

There was a door at the very end of the alleyway. One she never saw before. Her phone said it was the destination, so it was where she was going.

She finally made it to the door. Looking back at the now rain stained note, she gave the coded knock. It was morsecode for "Open."

Within seconds a little panel opened up and she jumped back in fear. A pair of chocolate brown eyes peered out and looked down at her. He, at least she thought it was a he, gave a deep low growl.

It spoke. "What brings you here, stranger?"

She looked down at the note once more and said, "I come to tell the story of my treasures to the Society of Knowledge."

"Very well." It said. The panel slammed shut and the door opened. A man the size of the door and super buff stood there. "Come on in, Teller of Knowledge."

She shyly stepped in and the man closed the door. People were separated into groups here and there. They all whispered as she walked in. Though it was a shushed whisper, their voices rose as one and all said the same thing.

"The Teller of Knowledge, Transverser of Dimensions is female?"

I brushed it off and walked up to a desk in the middle of the room. A woman sat there, reading a book and entering some crypted message into the computer.

"Uh, hello?" I whispered.

"Who are you and why are you here?" She said without even looking at her.

"I am the Transverser of Dimensions, Y/N L/N. I am here to tell my knowledge." She said this with almost no hesitation. It was the one thing she rehearsed.

"Follow the ball of light. It will guide you to where you need to be." As the desk operator said this, a small white light appeared in front of Y/N.

"Thank you." She mumbled and began ro follow the somewhat eager light through a labyrinth of bookshelves.

After what seemed like an eternity of walking, the ball of light fazed through a door. A gasp was heard and the door swung open.

"Oh, Transverser of Dimensions! How lovely it is to finally meet you!" A woman said enthusiastically.

"Please, just call me Y/N. There is no need for formalities." Y/N said.

"Of course, of course. As the note said, we are the Society of Knowledge and we seek many stories of many people. I am Knowledge Gatherer Carrie." Carrie smiled and tossed her gorgeous ginger locks over her shoulder.

"Now please, Y/N. Start from the beginning and soare no details." Carrie said this as she pulled out a recording machine of some sorts and hit play.

"It's a rather long story. It even started very close to here."

"Really? Where, our Transverser." Carrie's eyes widened more and more as she spoke.

"The alleyway right outside..."
