Summer Love

CHAPTER 1

"But why does he have to stay with us? why can't he just stay in Boston and not ruin my summer??" I whined.

"Samantha he's staying with and that's final. He needs help okay??"

"whatever.." i mumbled before walking out of her room. I went downstairs and into the kitchen to grab something to eat.

Not wanting to eat a sandwich I opened up a box of popcorn and took out a bag and ripped the plastic off before putting the bag into the micro wave. I turned on the micro wave and soon the bag started to inflate.

I can't believe Niall was spending the summer with us! He's kristens cousin and is around my age. I guess hes like only 2 or 3 months older than me but that didn't give him the right to ruin my summer!

I couldn't stand the douches face. he always managed to Get under my skin. The sight of him made me wannahurl. I mean its not really my fault he had attitude issues and that his parents had had enough of him and decided to ship him off to us.

Out of all the summers they could pick they HAD to pick my 18th summer??! it just wasnt fair! I guess I was thinking real hard because I didnt notice that the popcorn was done.

I sighed and took out the bag and made my way towards the living room flopping down on the couch and turning on the television. I started flipping through the channels while stuffing my face with popcorn.

"No Thank you Sam I'm good I dont want any popcorn" I heard Kristen say, sarcasm thick and evident in her voice."I'm sorry, I was just hungry" I apologized but rolled my eyes at the same time while handing her the bag.

She took the bag from me and sat down beside me on the couch."Look I'm sorry if I'm ruining your summer but the thing is Niall needs help and he's my cousin, he's always been there for me and I don't wanna leave him in his time of need".

"I understand but it's unfair for me. Its not MY fault he has attitude issues and that he's a dick. And he's specially always been a dick to me ever since we met in like 5th grade. He made fun of my braces, glasses and everything that I can think of. I wonder what flaw he'll pick out this time after 3 years. I mean I don't have braces and I don't wear glasses anymore either, I apply contacts now."

"Chillax!" she said waving her hand at me. "Im Sure he's changed!"

"I highly doubt that..." I mumbled under my breath

"come on, Lets watch a movie!" she said changing the topic.

"I call for mean girls" I said before she could pick out a movie

"Alrighty" she laughed putting in the movie.It had only been 30 minutes when the movie started when Kristen's phone went off.

"Hullo??" she answered smiling but her smile quickly changed into a frown. "Yeah but he wasn't going to arrive tuesday night" there was a short pause before she said 'oh ok..' and Hung up.

"who was it??" I asked curiously.

She sighed before speaking again. "It was aunt Maura, she said Niall will be arriving tomorrow. There's been a change in his flight ticket so..."

"So he's gonna get a head start"

"In what?"

"Making my summer a living hell..!" I stated.

I didn't find anything amusing yet Kristen was cracking up. The hell is wrong with her?? Well better get ready for whatever Niall has to say or do to me for the rest of my summer...
