It's Frost Fall Middus 24, 20,000 B.C. I'm out in the pastures for harvest. Our monthly convoy came by to drop off our supplies, and something else. While I was in the fields I hear my name from my dad to help unload the carts. When I got there, there was a young Imperial. As I was unloading the carts I was wondering who she was. After the work for the day was done, every one in the village partied for harvesting all of the crops. A small group of my friends swarmed her. I could see she was overwhelmed, so I sent them off to walk the village. I brought her some food and some mead. I asked her name and where she came from.
" Alex the Winged," she whispered. I hummed in response. She started to talk about where she came from and how she got her name. "I got my name because I have dragon wings."
I didn't believe her at first, but then I saw something move under her cloak. I saw a small glimpse of them. She could tell cause she could see it in my face. " That's why I wear this cloak. Until I was kicked out of my homeland by my wicked mother and an angry mob, I lived in Cyrodill. It wasn't until I turned 13 I got my wings." She explained, " So I went to live with my dad. But when I got there everything was burned down to the ground. Shortly after I learned to survive for myself, I came here. I heard this was a good place to restart my life."
"It is a great place to live and it's quite for the most part. Where are my manners; my name is Phal' Zhaar. Welcome to the village. I suggest you keep your wings hidden away." I joked with her. " But seriously keep them hidden. The people might not take it to lightly. Let me update something for you. Two weeks ago we had a raid many injured, one death; A good friend of mine. Him and I were the best archers in the world. We never took the time to learn to use a sword. That is how he died; one good stab to the heart. I just sat there looking at the guy until something snapped. I got so mad that I just started to shoot arrow after arrow after arrow. They fly through the air each one hitting its mark. After I finished he looked like a pincushion. I didn't let my friend die in vain. We just finished our harvest with so many out on bed rest. So that is why we are having this party. By the way do have a place to bed down."
"No."
"Well there are two place you can choose from." She interrupted me, "I only have two option." " Well you can sleep outside on the ground. Or you can sleep in the inn or my place my brother went to join the army" " how much does the inn cost." " 10 gold pieces for one night." " I'll stay at your place, how much is that?" She said, " Nothing we got a warm bed and food and cold mead." The party went on for another six hours before we started to clean up. She was like me in so many ways we are both Army brats. We both loved the joy of the hunt. We both like to fight. She had a boyfriend and I was single I have had my eye on someone for a long while now. We became good friends as the week went on. We started to teach each other thing. I taught her to shoot a bow she learns pretty fast. Then she taught me to use a sword she was pretty good at it to. Then she showed me her wings, which was amazing. How she a human was able to grow wings. Nevertheless we started to go hunting. She flew over the trees and spotted the elk for me. No one else knew about her wings. She hid them so well in the cloak. She said that they were 15ft. long. Eventually I showed her a spell that could help her hide her winds. It worked for 10 seconds. Which sucks!
