"Are you sure about this?" "Yes. It should be easy to transfer schools being that it's summer. It will be really hard to leave you though..." I say choking on my words. I try so hard to hide my pain. I have to be strong for Katelyn. We sit in silence until Katelyn asks "Have you talked to Aunt Jen?" Shit. "No I haven't.... I should go do that.." I walk outside, hands shaking, really worried she'll say no. I dial Aunt Jen's number. The phone rings twice and she picks up "Hello?" "Aunt Jen... Hey." I don't know how to ask her.... "Hey Fayth. Are you okay?" "Not... Um not really." I say stuttering. "What's wrong? Is it Harry!?" She says. She's starting to sound even more worried. She knows about Harry and how abusive he is. "Yes ma'am... I was sorta calling to ask you a question..." I've never been so nervous before. "Ask away!" She says. I can tell she's trying to cheer me up. "Ummm... Can I come stay with you for until I graduate?" Which was only two years from now "I have money. I can get myself there." I ask almost crying. Aunt Jen gets real quiet and asks "Does Harry know you're doing this?" "No ma'am..." I answer. Now I'm really worried. "Okay we can work this out." Did I just hear that correct? Did she say yes!? "Wait... I can come!?!?" I scream almost crying. "Yes, Hun. I don't want you with that abusive ass hole." She seems really okay with this. "Oh my gosh!!! Aunt Jen thank you so much!!!" I'm so happy I'm crying now. "You're welcome sweetie. How do you have the money?" She sounds concerned. "I took my college savings..." "No no no. You need that for college. I'll pay for your airplane ticket." I can't believe I'm hearing what in hearing. "Aunt Jen you-" "Yes I do!" She interrupts and hangs up. I run in the house to Katelyn's room. "I can go!!" I scream, tears of joy rushing down my face. "Oh my god. Fayth I'm so happy for you!!!" I can't believe I'm finally getting away from that prick!
