Chapter 10- It all Comes Back

Hey Babes, guess what? I'M BACK!! Yes after a painstakingly long vacation, I am back. Like no joke...It was painful. If you ever visit Washington D.C be ready to walk around. A LOT. Oh and Hershey Park in Pennsylvania? Beautiful place. Rode my first 6 roller coasters. Screamed my head off like a little baby child on all but one. But you know...If you're on a coaster that has a 200 foot drop, and it sends you into zero gravity, wouldn't you be screaming too? Anyway..here's this. Prepare your feels. Seriously. Like imma bring you up, just to throw you back down....IM SO SORRY! I'M A TERRIBLE PERSON!

I sat back in my comfy black rolly desk chair, finally being able to let Emerald fall back into my mind. It was all I did when I wasn't working. After Jack showed me the picture of her, she was always on my mind. Not one memory of her has entered my brain. Nothing. Nada. It killed me on the inside knowing that she was actually dying on the outside from not giving a fuck about life anymore. I let my mind wander off to the illusions I had while in a coma. The one about my wedding sticking out the most. Since I knew I was a married man, I knew that the girl in it was Emerald, but the memory of the coma dream didn't help much. Thinking back on it, I now remember, the one thing that suck out the most in all the memories of the girl, was her eyes. Her eyes were always clear. Was my own mind, the mind that couldn't even remember her name trying to tell me something?

I whipped out my phone, an idea springing into my head. Maybe I was trying to tell myself something. My phone had and overabundance of pictures of her, and her and I. I flicked through them until I found one. It was a close up picture of her and I. He hair perfectly curled into tiny little ringlets, and she was adorn with crystal tiara with a white veil attached. Everything about her was gorgeous. She was so different looking then, to what she looked like now. But the one thing that I was focused on at the moment were her eyes. Her sparkling sapphire eyes. Like a wave crashing down on the beach in a hurricane, the memories started flooding back to me.

I stood out by the plane holding a sign that said Emerald Tanner on it. She wasn't hard to miss. By the looks of it she was the only one there with her sandy brown hair. She was semi-short, And was looking for people. I called out to her. “Emerald!” She lifted her head and smiled at me as she made her way over.

“Hi.” She breathed, but still managing to look beautiful.

*New memory *

 My brain battled with itself. Should I? Could I? Will I? Yes I will. And that's when I just leaned over and planted a kiss on her beautiful face. I had surprised her, but she seemed to realize what was happening quickly. Before I knew it she was pulling me closer and kissing me back. Our first kiss. What does it mean?

I trailed kisses down her neck, as she ran soft and small fingers through my hair. She brought my face back to hers and she kissed me, this time I was playing at her lips, begging her for entrance. She was hesitant, but she opened her mouth to mine, and I slipped my tongue in. I soon found myself sliding my hands under her shirt, making her shiver. I smiled as we broke for a split second to pull the shirt off. I gently nipped at her ear when she seemed to be in another world. She gave me a playful smile and I let my hands go to the back of her bra. But she cut me off there.

Shit she has a boyfriend...

“I have mine!” She proclaimed as she padded back over to the pool. I dried my hands on the near by towel, and placed my phone in it. Luckily I had my 4s not my 5. It was dead, and she had hers if we needed to call someone. After putting it on I looked back to her. She was smiling and doing one of her usual 'biting-her-lip-while-smiling' thing. “Now go underwater.”
