The sun gleamed through Rosy's window as the sun began to rise into the early morning sky. It was only six o'clock and she was wide awake. She was already terrified of what lay ahead. Her first ever Pokémon journey. "Should I go... Or should I stay?" she whispered to herself. Rosy had stayed awake all night asking herself the same question. Even if I do go, which Pokémon am I supposed to choose, she thought. Rosy already knew about the starter Pokémon... Or at least the three she knew about.
So many decisions! Why can't I just make up my mind!? Rosy groaned and fell back into her bed. She could already hear the Spearow and Pidgey chirping outside. Rosy began reciting all the Pokemon types she knew. "Fire types, Water types, Grass types..." Suddenly, she heard a shout from below. "Rosy!!!! You awake yet!?!?!" Rosy looked down to see her three friends, Amy, Bloom, and Violet, waving. Rosy gasped in surprise and opened the window. "What are you guys doing here this early?" she shouted.
"We wanted to get you up bright and early!" Violet shouted as she spun around. Rosy laughed as Violet crashed into Amy. She watched as Bloom helped the two of them up. "I'm keeping an eye on these two." she said warrily. Bloom looked back up at Rosy and said, "Are you coming?" Rosy sighed and shook her head playfully. "I'll be down in a bit! Try not to break each other!" The girls bellow nodded. Bloom nodded; but, Amy, who was glancing at Violet, said, "I'm not making any promises!" Yep. Those are my besties, Rosy thought cheerfully.
Just as Rosy shut the window, her mother walked in. "Morning sweetie!" she said... Or yelled. Rosy's mother was always in a nice cheery mood. So whenever she was super happy, she would always talk super duper loud. "Oh hi mom." Rosy said. "Did I wake you up?" she asked. Her mother shook her head. "No. I woke up a few hours ago so I could help you get ready." she said cheerfully. Rosy chuckled and jumped off her bed. "Could you let my friends in? They're outside." Rosy's mother nodded. "Alright. But, don't you walk out of this house in PJ'S young lady! Get changed into some decent clothes, you look like a mess!" she shouted. Rosy groaned. "Yes 'General'."

Rosy dashed downstairs as fast as she could. "Guys!!! You down here!?!?" she shouted. Rosy suddenly crashed onto the floor. "Owww... What hit me?" she mumbled. She looked up as Amy helped her up. "You tripped... Again." Bloom said playfully. Rosy glared at her and Bloom glared back. "Ugh. I'm such a klutz." Rosy mumbled sadly. "No your not. Everyone trips! I fell flat on my face once during a race!" Violet exclaimed. Everyone laughed as Violet crossed her eyes. She always knows how to make everyone laugh, Rosy thought gleefully. "Shouldn't we get going? I think Professor Oak's lab is open by now." Amy said impatiently. Rosy glanced at the Noctowl clock on the wall. It's already 8:00! "Let's get going! His lab just opened!!!" Rosy shouted.
Bloom and Violet shrieked and burst out the door in practically less than five seconds. Rosy glanced at Amy. She was covering her ears and her eyes were screwed shut. "UGH! HOW DO I LIVE WITH THIS!!! I SHOULD BE DEAF BY NOW!!!" she shouted. Rosy flinched at her angry tone. "Umm... I'm sorry?" Amy shot Rosy a glare and shrugged. "Sorry. It's just that they squeal so much that my ear drum is about to shatter!" she said. "Don't worry. Just catch up with them. I'll be right there." Rosy said. Amy nodded and began racing after Bloom and Violet. That's our Amy! Always playing it cool. Rosy ran into her living room, where her mother was.
"Hey mom? Are you in here?" she asked softly. She suddenly saw her mother sitting on the recliner. "I'm here. Are you leaving already?" she asked. Rosy nodded. Her mother grabbed her and gave her a hug. "I hope you have fun on your journey. Be careful, don't fall off any waterfalls, and don't get trampled by Ryhorn's!" she warned gently. Rosy nodded even though she would never need that advice. "Don't worry! That won't happen. Me and my friends'll stick together." she said happily. Her mother nodded and gave her one last hug. "Alright then. Have fun!" she yelled. Rosy nodded and walked out the door of her house and made her way to Professor Oak's lab.
