It's 6 in the morning but I'm already up, on Monday if you wake any later than 6:30, you'd a miss the chance to use the bathroom. Oh before I forget I'm Jakeda, 17 years old and 18 in the next two months, I live in the Olive Home and Foster care for underage girls. If your thinking, my parents died or something, your wrong. I'm just simply troubled, but I'm older now anything I do goes on my record. I know how to take care of myself, I work at the McDonald's at the mall since I was 15 so yes I got a little raise now and then because I'm young so I help with children parties and stuff. I invested my money into a tutor from Georgia state university, and well she says I'm doing well enough to apply for a scholarship there. I hadn't gotten my acceptance letter yet but I am honestly scared. Suppose they don't let me in because of my past actions.

At Work*
I was at work by 9:00 and my manager was just about to open the doors. We exchanged good mornings and I went in after her. As soon as I got in I grabbed the table cloth and started to set up the tables and cleaned them. By 9:30 all my Co-workers where here. Even my best friend Angie she was older than me but she was a great friend and plus she's Hispanic so she had this cute accent when she said certain words including my name. The day was quite busy as usual and when it ended Angie offered me a ride to Ms. Mackenzie house, she's my tutor btw.

When I got to her house her son, Nathaniel opened the door he was in his first year of college now, but he attended the university of Georgia, he's like a big brother to me cause when Ms. Mc gave me home work he'd be the one to help me out.
Me: Hey Nate
Nate: hey Keda, how was your day
Me: it was ok
Nate: well mom say she'll be home a little late, you can help me in the meantime, I'm making dinner *goes to the kitchen *
Me: sure *followed Nathaniel to the kitchen*

Nate was teaching me how to make, shrimp Alfredo, he was such a good teacher, he gave me the task of mixing the shrimp with the Alfredo sauce.

Here have a taste he said feeding me some, hmm I said licking my lips. What you haven't taste shrimp Alfredo before Nate said with an confused look on his face. I looked down on my feet and shake my head no, well it's fine I'll make u a plate. Thank you I said sitting at the island, he made me a plate and made himself one too then sat beside me. We sat there silently eating till Nate turned around obviously about to say something but I busted out laughing by the time he fully faced me. What he said but with an embarrassed look on his face, come here I replied stretching my hand out to wipe the Alfredo sauce from his small mustache. Thanks he said smiling and going back to eat. We heard the door open and then Ms. Mc walked in with tears running down her face.

To Ms. Jakeda Hendrix
We are ecstatic to grant you, your acceptance to the Georgia State University. You are expected to attend an interview in the next two weeks and if that goes well you should start next semester.

Tears of joy filled my eyes as I started jumping and received a hug of congratulations from Ms. Mc followed by one from Nate, which was awkwardly weird because this was our first hug and it felt as if we were hugging for quite a while.

After letting go, Ms. Mc and I went into the family room and talked about the interview, she decided that we wouldn't study today because of all the excitement. She also offered to accompany me to the interview if I wanted, and asked about my plans after I leave the children home.
Tbh I never really thought of that part what would I do after I left there, I definitely can't go back to my parents plus I heard they got a divorce and my mom moved to Miami with my little sister, Dajaeka.
