Everyone in my apartment building knew that I had just adopted two cats. And they took advantage of my love of cats. During the week I got asked more than a million times if I could adopt anymore cats. I knew I needed at least a month or two with my cats, Coffee and Nemo. So I decided I would just try to take them in and get them to the shelter so that they could have a better chance at finding a better, forever home. The next day that I got asked, I said yes and brought in two kittens, one white and one orange, named Elsa and Anna. And everyday since, I became a regular at the animal shelter. I brought more and more animals to be adopted, which was great because the shelter I brought them to was a no-kill shelter. I felt like a better person after a couple months, you know giving back to the community.
After a long day, I came back to my own cats and smiled. They sat on my lap and purred as I pet them softly. They looked at me as if to say lets just stay in this moment forever. That night we all went to sleep knowing that our bond was extremely strong and we knew that we would be together forever.
