"I'm home!" she called as she walked through the door. "Okay, I'm in the kitchen." I called back to her. She walked in. "Mom, what are we doing tonight?" Emily asked with a big smile on my face. I stepped away from the sink and faced Emily, who was sitting at the counter, with my elbows and forearms on the counter. "Who's coming over." I asked. "Wait, wait, wait, wait, let me guess." I tried to look like I was pondering it really hard. I said my answer questionably with a smile on my face, "Adrian and Kayla." "Yeppers!" she said back. "Okay but only under one condition, you clean your room." I said. "Cleaned it this morning" she said, walking away as the doorbell rang.
