"Austin. Psst, Austin! Austinnnnnnn. Wakey-wakey." someone whispers in my ear. I groan and roll over to the other side of my bed, hoping that who ever is bugging me, leaves. But that doesn't happen, "Austin, wake up. Ryan's down stairs with Cody. You need to wake up so you can start getting her room set up." When I hear the name 'Cody' I'm up and about. My dad just smiles and says to get dressed and meet them down stairs in a minute. I sigh, I haven't seen Cody in a couple of days and it's been driving me crazy. I miss her so much. Ryan, her dad, only had her because we had to get settled in before we could have her here. I pull on some dark shorts that are mid thing and Hollister shirt that has birds on the side of it going from dark blue to a sky, light blue. Throwing my hair up into a pony tail, I rush down the stairs. I see my beautiful baby girl sitting in her car seat, looking at her surroundings. She is such a looker. Her light blonde hair is starting to show, even though she's only a couple of weeks old. Her blue eyes are a bright, but deep blue and they're so big. Her eye lashes are so long and dark. Then there's her pouty lips that form into a bow when she's hungry. She is perfect. And she's mine.

"Thanks Ryan for taking her for a couple of days. I really appreciate it," I tell Cody's father, Ryan. I was surprised that he offered considering he didn't want anything to do with her or me when I found out that I was pregnant with her and that tore me apart. So it took me by surprise when he said he's take her for a couple of days.

I walked over to her and started to un-do her car seat. I pick her up and support her head with my elbow. She looks at me with her big blue eyes and never takes her eyes off of my face. She has a little gummy smile formed on her lips and bring a smile to my face, as well. This little girl has done miracles for my life. Even if I am 16, I'm proud to be a teenage parent.

Walking up to Ryan, I say, "Thanks Ryan. Again. I know you didn't want to do anything with her or me but I do. She's my child and I can honestly say you haven't been anything to her. I appreciate you taking her for a couple of days. Now you don't have to worry about us or anything."

"Austin, I love her to death. She is my child and I'm sorry I wasn't there for you when you were carrying her in your womb. I want to be there for you and her." he replies. I just shake my head not being able to let him walk into my house and expect me to be okay with his plans in being in my daughter's life. No.

"I'm sorry Ryan. You messed up. You weren't there for me. You weren't there for her. It's best you just leave." I turn around and shut the door. I feel bad for not letting him be in his child's life but this is all his fault. He brought this onto himself. Sighing, I walk up to the stairs and walk down the hall. When  get to a closed door, I turn the knob and walk in. The walls are painted a light pink, almost a salmon color. It has dark pink flowers, painted all around the room. The ceiling is what I see next, it's galaxy painted and it looks amazing. The crib is set up beside the wall, next to the window. Light pink and zebra striped curtains hang in front of the window. Below the window is a changing station. It's white and the padding is a light pink with a zebra in the middle. It has drawers on both sides and it has doors n the middle. There is a rocking chair set up at the end on the crib, kinda in front of the window. There is shelves on the opposite wall of the crib and I can see that my dad has put everything away, like her diapers, her baby lotion, wipes, toys. There's baskets of things to keep everything separated and neat. By the rocking chair, there is a rocking machine. It's the cutest thing I've saw. The carpet is so soft and fluffy. It's a light pink, but still white. It has a path that goes to her crib and branches off to the window. Inside of the path is zebra strips. I've never seen anything like it before. The closet door is open and it's a walk in closet. All of her clothes are hung up from new born clothes all the way up to 2T. On the floor are a bunch of toys that I didn't even know existed. Her papa really does love her. I make my way our of the closet and to the door. I turn around to see my dad standing against the frame looking at me.

"Thank you Daddy. I really appreciate it. And from the smile on Cody's lips, I can tell she does, too. I can't believe you did all this. Where did you get all the money for this?"  I question because I really didn't know. This house is so much bigger than our last one. "I've always had money saved back. A lot of it and when you found out that you pregnant, I couldn't help but do this for her. And you. Then, I got a promotion so we moved her and I thought that we'd need a bigger house because you're going to have Cody and when she gets older, she'll need a bigger house," my father states. I couldn't help but tear up at the thought of him doing all this for my daughter. Not only for her but for me too. She's going to have an amazing life.

After a little while of playing with Cody, I decide to take her swimming in our pool in the backyard. I change her into a cut two piece swim suit that is pink and zebra striped. She looks so cute in it! I couldn't help but take a picture of her. After I got my swim suit on, I couldn't help but stare in the mirror at my stomach. It was flat as can be. You'd never guess I was pregnant a couple of weeks ago. I didn't even get that big with Cody, just a small baby bump. I don't even have stretch marks. Thank the Lord! I put on a pair of swimming shorts to go over my bottoms. I picked up Cody and applied some sunscreen on her because I don't want her sunburnt. She'd be in some pain if she had one.

I walked down the stairs and made my way to the back doors. I found Cody's floaty type thing and put her in it. The water wasn't very cold so I didn't have to worry about it being too cold for her. Even if it is hot outside. I placed her in the water and stepped in with her. We spent the next hour or two playing in the pool.

Right now, I'm walking around with her latched onto me talking to her. When I turn around, I jump. I didn't know how long Zach has been sitting there watching me. Oh gosh, here we go.

"How long have you been sitting there?" I ask. A bit nervous. "Oh, maybe 10-15 minutes. Your dad told me you were out back swimming so I decided to come out here. Then I noticed the baby and you looked so peaceful with her. Then I heard you talk to her and it's the cutest thing ever. Is she yours?" he ask. Searching his face, debating weather or not to tell the truth, I come clean.

"Yeah, she's mine," I finally say. Looking down at the angle that lays in my arms, looking a bit tired. "I couldn't bring myself to aborting her or adoption. I loved her even when I couldn't see her. I love her more than anyone in the world. I wouldn't give her up for anything. She's mine and I'm proud."

"I wouldn't be able to do that either. She's adorable." he states and I stare at him in awe. Everyone I've meet have judge me for being so young with her and he's the first that hasn't. This just makes me feel something for him. Maybe a little more than I already have. I smile at him and say thanks. I get out of the pool and wrap a towel around my body and wrap one around Cody, drying her off. I grab a bottle from the table that I set down before getting in and place the nipple against her mouth and she latches on to it in a matter of seconds.
