Eyes... That are Red....

I was in the hallway, when I saw a boy with a big red coat and dark pink scarf. I started to walk over and talk to him until some guys walked up to him. "They might be friends, so I won't bother" I muttered. I started to walk off until I heard a loud bang. "Wha-?!" I turned to see the boy get shoved on the outside of a locker. He grunted as if someone just pushed him an inch. "What did you say Red boy?" The man yelled at the boy.

"I d-didn't say a-anything..." He stuttered. I didn't want to watch this anymore... "Leave him alone!" I yelled. The man and the red coated boy looked at me. "Exuse me?" The bully came closer to me with an expression so easy to read. "I said leave him alone!" I couldn't believe I even had enough confidence to SPEAK to him... "A-and you can't hurt me since it's illegal to hit a girl!" He stared at me until he finally said, "You can't protect him for long..." And walked away.

I walked over to the boy, he seemed to have sort of red eyes.... "Th-thanks... But wh-why?" He asked so scared it seemed. "Because you were being bullied, I can't just stand there and watch." I smiled. "O-oh... In my wo- I MEAN-! at m-my school, no one w-was nice..." I couldn't help but make my face cringe with sadness and anger. "That's horrible! We can be friends, if you want." I had said ever so cheerfully. He smiled and looked at me, straight in the eyes... I lightly blushed asking, "What are you doing..?" I then found him hugging me kind of tightly. "Thank you..." I didn't know what to do. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO, I JUST MET HIM?! "It's o-ok," He stopped hugging me and smiled softly. "That was a b-bit fast anyway..." he walked away, heading to class. "Y-your welcome!" I yelled. I then walked in the opposite direction, going to class... "This is gonna be an awesome year....."
