Emma came up to Claire, to ask about all the files related to the Wasali group, before she could even open her mouth, Claire beat her to it by saying. "Here comes the talk of the hour."

Emma looked up at her in surprise. “I am not sure what on earth are you talking about"

"Don't act so coy, Miss. Kotler; everyone is talking about your magical powers. How you managed to get hold of Mr. Wasali, only in one week's time. You do know that you truly are something" Claire said grinningly.

"How on earth do you know about the meeting? Only an hour before I have informed the boss" exclaimed Emma.

Claire laughed out at her expressions.

"It's alright honey, not everyone has your magical assistant power with us, Adian called me up to inform about it and asked me to gather all the required files from other departments; that's how the words got around the office. As to knowing about your mysterious, magical power, when Adian called me up he said something along the lines" said Claire winking at her.

“Thank God you didn’t know how I acquired them!” She replied in an equally dramatic manner bringing her hand to her heart and popping out her eyes for the extra effect “Imagine what would I do if you have the same power” Giving a fake shudder.

Claire laughed out her antics, giving her a glare and took out all the files from the side drawer of her desk and gave them to Emma, as Emma took the files, Elaine walked towards her and immediately gave her a hug, while crushing her bones in the process.

“Elaine, leave me please I can’t breathe.” Elaine gave her a sheepish look and released the tight hold on her.

"You truly did manage a miracle, do you know that, you have made our life quiet easy now." said Elaine and Emma looked at her in bewilderment. She couldn’t understand what is wrong with everyone and there over excitement. She could sense that something was wrong and getting Wasali was like an ultimate deal.

"I don't understand what the hype is all about, it was just a meeting. No big deal." said Emma.

"You really don't know?" asked Elaine with stupor "the big deal is that we have lost five deals back to back to an unknown rival. The only way we could get hold of this new deal is with the help of Mr James, if he doesn't agree to team up with us, then God help us all from boss’s wrath."

This reply left Emma to thinking, about how serious the situation is and no one bothered to inform her, about it. She took the files, thanked Claire and marched up to Adian's office. No wonder everyone was going gaga over getting a mere meeting from the Wasali group.

Adian heard a loud knock on his door, before he could tell the person on the other side to enter, he saw Emma barging in his office looking really pissed off. He realised how truly beautiful she was looking being so pissed off, her nose flaring in anger, cheeks turned bright red, her pouty red lips tightly pursed and felt a twitch in his pants.

"How could you not tell me about the seriousness of the situation" Emma bellowed at Adian before he could control his thoughts.

"Before screaming out, can you tell me what situation you are talking about?" Adian asked politely, while trying to control his hormones on rampage.

"Are you serious? I am talking about the unknown rival, who took out five deals. Do I need to go on more" Emma asked with a tilt to her head, while tapping her foot on the carpeted floor.

Taking a long deep breath Adian reclined back on his chair and asked her to take a seat. She sat down gingerly still looking pissed, but some of the heat left her body.

"Yes we are losing deals, to the unknown rival and we could get this new project with the help of Mr Wasali. I didn't tell you this because it’s been only a week since you joined the company. Loosing these five deals is not that important, the issue is the unknown rival because of which the Marketing PR department is in a tiff. Since they have to work extra hard to secure our image from getting tarnished."

"Oh, but how can Mr Wasali help in this situation" asked Emma, still not getting the connection between unknown rival and getting the Wasali group on board.

"We have recently started investing in the construction, while Mr Wasali is an old player in this department, with lot of experience to help us out initially. The reason why we need him to come on board for this particular project with us" He gave her an exploring look.

"Okay.” She nodded her head “Thanks for clearing it all, can you tell me how I can help. You do know even though I am an assistant did do my masters in business and hoping to work in the PR department, if I pass your exam." Emma said with a smile, but turned sincere. “I am sorry for my earlier outburst”

"I do know that, mercenary lady. Our priority right now is to get Mr. Wasali convince, to do business with us. I want you to do your research on him and find a way to get him to agree with us. Think we can do that?" asked Adian with a raised brow, in a challenge.

"I don't think I can do that. I know I can do that" replied Emma cheekily.

"Okay then get to work and see what you can cook up"

With that Emma got up and went to her workstation to start the work.

In the next couple of days Emma finished her research and designed the strategy to impress the infamous Mr Wasali.
