Another interesting theory is that Rey is Luke female clone, I find this theory is a little unlikely but we know that cloning has happened in the Star Wars universe and someone may used Luke's hand which was cut off by Darth Vader in episode V to create a clone of Luke, maybe after he disapeared? and then somehow Rey turned out female?? It's very unlikely but not impossible.
