It felt like a dream but when I woke up I was no longer on the couch. Sometime during the night Max had moved us to his bed in his room. I was a little angry but it was more comfortable than being on that couch. I tried to get up without waking him and it worked. I got my phone and saw it was ten in the morning.

I raided his fridge and he had some OJ and some fruit, which I thanked for that so I had some fruit for breakfast. It wasn't long before I heard Max moving around his room. He came out 15 minutes later in nothing but a towel and I quickly looked away. "Uh, Max do you make it a habit of walking with nothing but a towel on."

I must have startled him because he turned to see me sitting at his table. "Holy hell, what are you doing here?"

"Well, I stayed here last night remember." I said and when he didn't answer I continued. "Wow, you must have been pretty messed up to not remember."

He walked over to me saying "How could I forget staying here." Here we go, he was back to being himself again. "My only question is when did you move me to your bed." That was a really good question and by the look on his face I knew he had no idea what I was talking about.

"In my bed? I have no clue, but it was obviously nothing seeing as we used to fall asleep there all the time." He said.

"Maybe you brought me in the subconsciously to be more comfortable." I shrugged trying to make sense of it all.

"Maybe, hey you want to hang out today or do you have other plans?" He asked.

I looked down at my phone and saw Chels had already messaged me. I took a minute to read it and she was wondering what I was doing. She was looking for me but I didn't want to go along with her and hang around a bunch of guys. So I sent her a message I was busy. "Nope, nothing to do today." I said.

"Great, let me get dressed and we can head out." He said as he started to go to his room. "Actually, can you meet me at my place. I kinda need to change." I said before he got to far. He looked at me and realized what I meant and nodded.

I left to go get ready and on the way I ran into Mike. He was coming around the corner when we saw each other. "Wow, see you didn't make it home last night." He said as he was looking me over.

"I almost did, but ended staying at a friends place." I said.

He look at me like he had so many questions and I wasn't sure I was going to like it. "It wasn't that guy you guys showed up with last night was it? You seemed like you didn't like him that much so it couldn't have been, right?" He asked.

"Actually, yes, When you couldn't walk me home he followed me to make sure I got home OK, but we didn't get that far." I said.

"Oh" was all he said with disappointed look on his face.

"It's not like that. Can we walk while I explain." I asked and he nodded, so we started walking and I continued. "See we have known each other for a while. My cousin is actually married to his father and we kind of grew up together. It's annoying to have him around sometimes, but he looks after me. So yeah w are really close but in the annoying way." I finished, waiting to hear what he has to say.

"Wow, OK so now I understand you guys are Friends. Cool." He said.

We were walking and I didn't realize we were already at my place. "Well here I am." I said.

"Do you have any plans today?" He asked.

I was about to answer when Max came out of no where. "Why aren't you ready yet?" he asked me.

"Well, I was walking home when I bumped into Mike her so yeah." I answered.

It felt kind of awkward with the two of them her so I had to say something. "So, Max, this is Mike, Mike this is Max." I said trying to break the tension. "To answer your question Mike, yes I have plans with max today, but here is my number and maybe we could hang out another day." I handed him a piece of paper. He took it and mumbled a goodbye and left.
