I couldn't believe it. Everything Levin had worked for. Destroyed. Not even my puppies could help me feel better. I can't even imagine what Levin must be going through.
I wanted to get out of the house. Out of the whole place actually. I found Lucinda getting her horse with horse with her guard.
Aphmau: Lucinda. Where are you going?
Lucinda: Me and Jeremiah are going to find the last of my items to the portal. Want to come along?
Aphmau: Yeah, sure. Just let me get my horse.
Her item was very close to Phoenix Drop. It was a small camp owned by very nice trading people. They have lots of supplies and what we need need is there.
It's like an hour from here. The area is small.
I wasn't talking with Lucinda. I love talking to her, but not today. What happened in Phoenix Drop... I couldn't just forget it.
I could 't imagine it all destroyed and burned down. They were so close to rebuilding the actual whole place.
A few tears streamed down my face. Lucinda noticed it.
Lucinda: Aphmau. What's wrong?
Aphmau: Lucinda, I don't want to talk about it.
Lucinda: Aphmau, I-
Aphmau: Lucinda, I don't wanna talk.
We finally got to the place. I couldn't believe it.
Everyone was dead. The Tu'lans must've attacked here too.
Lucinda: No. Why would they do this?
Her and her guard got of the horse.
Aphmau: It's okay. I'll revive them.
I touched the closest one. Nothing.
Aphmau: Why isn't it working?
Lucinda removed and arrow from the man's chest. They were all ahot with tbe aame arrow.
Lucinda: Aphmau, it isn't going to work.
Aphmau: What?!
She dropped the arrow.
Lucinda: It's enchanted. He's dead. For good. They all are. You can't bring them back.
I stood up. I covered my mouth seeing as how many of them were dead. They were all dead.
Aphmau: Why would the Tu'lans do this? It's horrible.
I went over to the leader, Henry's, tent. Him and his wife were shot with the same arrow.
Aphmau: No...
I really cried this time. They were destryoyng everything.
Aphmau: Wait, you think they took the... Whatever your item is.
Lucinda: Oh. I didn't think of that. Oh no.
Lucinda looked through Henry's stuff. He finally found some wood planks.
Aphmau: What are those?
Lucinda: Magic wood. We need about six planks.
She took what we needed and we rode back. There wasn't anything we could do. We finally made it back to the settlement. No one was at the gate.
Aphmau: Hey! Anyone? Open the gate!
I saw Laurance climb to the top.
Laurance: Aphmau?
He opened the wall gate.
Laurance: Aphmau you need to see this now!
