Chapter 18: A Boat in the Horizon

After he let is in, Laurance ran all the way to the other side.

Aphmau: Laurance.. *pant* wait up.

We made to the small dock we built. The whole village was there. And not too far from
The place, was a Tu'laan ship.

Aphmau: No. No no no no no. This can't be happening.

There was only one ship, but it was huge.

One of the people in the ship came up. He was a Meiw'fa, and I'd imagine they all are.

???: Alright. I really don't want to do anything harsh. Who is the leader of this village?

I stepped up.

Winston: My name is Winston. I am the leader of the Tu'lan power house, Shika. Now all we want is for all of you to surrender, and no one will get hurt. I see the people from that other village are here. Don't be stupid like they were.

I couldn't let them do this.

Laurance, Vylad, and Aaron whispered to eachother and then Aaron said that they all thought we shouldn't surrender. I agreed.

Aphmau: Please, we're peaceful. We don't want any trouble. You can come along and we can talk about it. You don't need to-

He shot Travis.

Aphmau: TRAVIS!

I went over to him. It was an enchanted arrow.

Aphmau: No, no please no.

I looked at Winston.

Winston: You see, I didn't want to do that. But I had to to prove my point. I will keep picking you off one by one. Your choice.

Laurance: *whispering* Aphmau. Should I turn?

I thought about it. Should he?

Winston: I can hear your whispers.

He got his bow and shot Laurance. Laurance quickly turned into a Shadow Knight and caught the arrow.

Aphmau: EVERYONE GET OUR OF HERE.

Kenmur and Emmalyn got out of the dock with everyone from Phoenix Drop.. Vylad followed them to make sure they were safe.. Laurance jumped in top of the ship. A few Meiw'fa got off of the ship and then and our guards started fighting them.  Katelyn was helping them. Lucinda and her guard were also fighting.

I was so shocked by all of this. I didn't know what to do or where to go. Laurance jumped off of the ship, still in hos Shadow Knoght form, covered in blood. He was running so fast. I ran after him.

Aphmau: Guards! Keep them busy!  Laurance!

He made it past the gate. Where was he going?

Aphmau: LAURANCE STOP! What happened?!

Laurance: They're at Meteli! They have the whole place hostage! I need to make sure Cadenza is okay! That they're all okay!

Oh no. Meteli.

Aphmau: Laurance wait! You can't walk there. It's like a day away!

I spoke too soon as Laurance encountered a farm and stole a horse. There was no farmer. I left two diamonds in the ground for the horses and took one myself.

Aphmau: Alright, we got horses but still, we need to-

Laurance: Aphmau, Cadenza needs our help. The whole town needs my help. So with or without you I'm going there.

He was angry. He really loved his sister. Not that I blame him, I also love Cadenza.

Aphmau: Okay, let's go.
