Katelyn's POV
I went down for my weekly check at the portal. Everytime I felt a temptation to go and help Aphmau. I wanted to beat Zane myself for what he's done. But then I though if I left with no warning, they would all be worried.
Everything has been more calm since Aphmau told us not to take care of any of the big problems like Zenix.
I went out and looked at the place. Aaron has made it so beautiful. And talking about Aaron, where was he?
I went to ask one of the guards if he had seen Aaron. Kenmur and Emmalyn. I was so happy for Emmalyn. She got pregnant two months ago. They both looked so happy.
The guard talked to said Aaron, along with Dante, Levin and Malachi, went to Meteli to do negotiation.
I never understand. What negotiations do they do there? He leaves to villages a lot. Which I shouldn't find surprising, he is the temporary lord, but still.
I waved at Emmalyn and she waved back. I saw half of the village on the way to the gate. Chad, as always, with his inventions. Kawaii~Chan with Nekoette and her newborn, James. Zoey, who I think is dating a guard. Logan and Donna with their baby girl and two kids. Alexis and Yip. Kyle. Everyone really. They all seemed happy.,
I walk by the farm on the way to the gate. Jonathan, the farmer was planting what looked like corn. I don't really know.
I made it to the top of the gate. The guard said that they should arrive soon.
An hour passed and I was still there.
For a second I got worried but then I saw them coming. The guard opened the gate.
I got down from the wall. Levin, Malachi, and Dante went their own way. To the stable, I imagine. Aaron stopped once he saw me in the gate.
Katelyn: Hey Aaron.
Aaron: Hey.
He got off the horse. He started getting a few thing off of the horse's chest.
Katelyn: Umm... Aren't you forgeting some-
He kissed me and I kissed back. My last few months with him have been the best of my life. Ever since he started opening up more I' loved talking to him. I never thought that I'd fall on love with him.
Aaron: I'd never forget that.
He smiled. I love him so much.
