*KyliesPOV*** Also sort of a dialog that's why it's sorta long, xoxox.
As I'm packing my things to leave I think in my head "clothes, food, money, car keys" making a mental list of the things I'll need to get me through untill I make it to L.A. It's been my dream to go there since I was 8 and considering there's nothing here for me I'm leaving. Leaving from this little town where nothing ever happens. Sometimes it's sad thinking about leaving my mother but you can't help those who turn it down. Me and my mother have never really been on good terms and she's always told me I would never make it in life if I keep expecting this fairytale ending. I've always been pretty independent and as of last week when I turned 18 I've proven that. I grabbed all the money I had saved for my trip to Cali plus my last check I received before quoting my job so that brought me an extra $600 that left me with plenty. I throw my bags into the trunk of my murdered out Chevy Malibu, it was a birthday present for my 17th from my father, he's one of the reasons I'm moving to Cali. Him and my mother split when I was 13, he found needles in a box one day while trying to find some of their wedding pictures to show me and since then she's gone down hill. I'm currently living with my bestfriend Haley, her mother and my father agreed to let her take me in to keep me in school so I can finish up in my hometown but I decided to finish my senior year in California to gain all my credits and graduate faster. Haley helped me pick out my apartment close to the south side of California to be closer to the beaches. Not to mention I hear the sunsets there are amazing. Also guys the girl looks like Emily Huff if you want to go check out her social media to get an idea of the character.
"I'm gonna miss you Kylie"
"Stop your gonna make me cry Haley, I don't wanna smudge my makeup, what if there's a hot guy on the plane?"
"Your right I'm sorry, I love you be safe and text me as soon as you land or else"
"Yes mom", I say with emphasis on mom.
I give her a hug and walk off to my car. As I'm backing out she waves until I drive off and I can't see her. A tear slips from my eye and I wipe it off checking the visior on my mirror to make sure it didn't smudge anything and slide on some sunglasses.
I want into the airport and it smells like a hospital and school food. I take a seat next to my gate and wait for my announcement to head to my plane after entering security.
Boarding the plane behind me was an older lady who smelt of Avon and liquorish, she reminded me of my nana. She passed a few weeks after we found out my mom took drugs.
"Please take your seat ma'am"
My thoughts were interrupted by a nice lady with dark hair and a name rage that read Lind."Yeah sure, sorry"
"Your fine sweetie can I get you anything?"
"A Coke would be nice, thanks."
I finally have a window seat, i love the window seats because you can see the clouds and mountains below and it makes me feel like I'm in a dramatic music video of Adeles or something.
*aproaching the apartment bought in advance*
I walk in it it smells like paint and the window is open so I'm assuming there was a recent coat over it so a run my fingers over the wall above my light switch to be sure and to my surprise the wall was dry.
