"Come on, Steven! This is a life or death emergency!" screeched Pearl.
"Coming!" I said, bouncing off the couch to the teleportation pad. Pearl hurriedly teleported us... to the laundry pad. She grabbed an iron.
"Why'd I have to come?" Amethyst whined.
"It's Steven's laundry day." Pearl said.
"Yeah, Steven's laundry day." Amethyst said.
"Steven, Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl? Anyone home?" Dad asked, by the door.
"Coming!" I said, forming a bubble around me.
"Here... I... GO!" I yelled, rolling down the long stretch. Pop!
"Whoa, there!" Dad said, "You wanna come on a road trip with me?"
"Yes! Where to?" I asked.
"Gravity Falls." Dad said.
"Let me go pack. Can the gems come?" I said.
"If they want." Dad answered.
"We would love to." Garnet said, landing beside me.
"Yeah." said Amethyst and Pearl.
