I'm up and outta here!

I woke up and rubbed my eyes. I could hear a toned down chatter and momentarily forgot last night's events. Then realization hit. I ran as fast as I could, trying to escape my unpreventable future. The problem was that I forgot that other people existed and subsequently my current pajamas, too. You see, everyone had their one pair of embarrassing, tortuous pajamas and unfortunately I happened to be wearing mine.

"Hello," I shakily start, "How do you doodily do this fine evening?" Yep, that's how socially awkward I have to be. Of course my brother is down here too, trying to act all perfect, and honestly failing in my opinion.

"Are you delirious?" he said doused in fake concern that no one but my aunt and I could see. He then proceeds to check my temperature. My aunt starts glaring as menacing as a 5ft 2in lady with short blonde hair could.

"No, but you clearly are," she muttered just low enough for both my brother and I to hear before continuing. "I'll go help you pack, Cammie"

As we walked up the stairs into my room my aunt asks me,

"Is your brother always like this?" I just nodded as a response. I quickly just shoved all my clothes in a box along with my prized possessions, such as a signed poop emoji from my best friend Camilla (yeah that's how we became friends, how cliche of us). Okay, so as I was coming down the stairs my brother managed to trip me and all of my stuff came out all over the floor. I groaned and started picking up all of my clothes. My aunt looked at me then my parents and asked,

"Are you sure that it does not need to come over the summer for a change?" I laughed, picked up my stuff, and knew I was going to enjoy my time with my aunt.

We got into the car and started driving. Once we made it on the interstate, we were ready for the long ride. As soon as we got on to twenty minutes time, my aunt started complaining that her wig was itchy. She took off the wig and I could then see a cascade of ombre, rainbow hair. My mouth fell open, gawking at my aunt.

"Don't look at me that way," she said with a laugh, "I'm not the reckless partier"

"Neither am I," I replied with a huff.

We arrived at the house and there were two things my mom didn't mention (well there were a lot, but two big things). One: my aunt practically lives in a mansion, and two: that she lives next to a family that has three - not one, but three - annoyingly cute boys.
Then I saw the puppy. I knew I was going to enjoy my magnificent stay.
