He suited up, preparing for his mission. Operative Retrieval was no mean feat. But he was the best. 18 successful retrievals under his belt, and he would be chalking up another 3 if this went right.
He entered the plane. No one was to go with him. He had requested that specifically. If things went wrong, he would be the only one at risk.
He lifted off, and began the flight. Belgium was eight hours away at 200 miles an hour.
He began to ran every possible scenario through his head, preparing for them all. He would be ready.
He touched down at 8, and began to prepare.
