Fallen sighed and followed his Alpha. The she wolf with the mottled brown looked at Fallen sympathetically. "Don't worry much Fallen, we know what she was planning. One of the queens heard her planning this." she woofed softly. Fallen blinked at her in surprise. He nodded his head and walked on in complete silence.

Finally they made it to the sheltered overhang that was his leader's den. The Alpha motioned for Fallen to sit down. Fallen obliged but his ears twitched nervously. 'If they knew it was planned by my mother then why am i here?' he wondered silently.

"Im sure you're wondering why I've brought you here." The alpha paused and looked at Fallen. Fallen nodded but wanted to scream. "Well I had smelled an unfamiliar scent in the clearing and Miaso heard from Zephyr that the wolf escaped over the border and the Moor pack refuses to give him up." he paused again and exchanged a look with his beta.

Miaso just shrugged. "Mine as well say it all." she woofed. The alpha nodded.

"Well Zephyr tells us this wolf is from a pack on the other side of the mountains... this pack of wolves were banished from these hills. Their older Alphas have done very terrible things. So if a wolf from their pack comes here he must be killed." Fallen listened, his face transforming from shocked to horrified as he realized what his Alpha was suggesting.

"B-but he's a good wolf i swear!" Fallen stammered. "He just wanted to pass through and he looked like he was doing something important because he really just needed to pass throu-" Fallen stared at Miaso and his Alpha. He just ran his mouth and now this wolf was in trouble. And not only him- Fawn too!

Miaso smirked. "How wonderful. I guess we'll just have to get him back now wont we Saber?" she said to the Alpha. Saber nodded.

"Miaso, make a battle patrol, we leave at once. And Fallen you're coming too." Fallen opened his mouth to protest but Saber just brushed past him. Fallen sighed. His world was falling apart all around him and he found that all he could do ks stare blankly...

"Okay, Zephyr and Miaso, scout ahead." the two wolves nodded and silently stalked forward. There was a thump and a muffled screech.

"All clear!" Miaso called in a whisper. The battle patrol shuffled forward silently. Fallen thought about Fawn as he walked. Where was she? Was she the wolf they took down? Fallen crept from the shelter of the trees and felt relief swamp through him as he saw who Zephyr was holding down. It wasn't Fawn but a smaller gray male. Miaso looked up at the patrol.

"We managed to grab him but two others got away." she growled. Saber groaned.

"So we lost our element of surprise." he growled. Miaso nodded her head. "We lost our element of surprise but we will still fight!" he barked at the patrol. He paused then scanned the patrol and finally stopped to stare at Fallen. "Anyone who can give me the white male wolf will be rewarded greatly." Fallen shuddered. Why had the alpha looked at him?

"Attack!" Saber howled. He launched himself down into the camp. Wolves were everywhere trying to hide the elders and the pups. Screeches echoed off the camp walls as the wolves below were being brutally attacked.

Fallen looked around in shock and saw his brother attacking a queen trying to hide her pups. Fallen growled. It was wrong to attack a queen and his brother knew this! Fallen gathered his legs beneath him and pushed off into a powerful leap towards his brother. His leap knocked his brother breathless for a heartbeat, but he soon got up and growled.

"Traitor! I always knew you loved the moor pack better than your own!" he growled and stepped forward with a wicked gleam in his eyes. Fallen backed away and bumped into a little silver she wolf.

With a growl the silver she wolf lunged at Fallen. Fallen bared his teeth instinctively and met the she wolf with a powerful swipe to her head. He heard screeches behind him and turned to see Zephyr had a small brown she wolf under him and his claws churned into her back. Fallen stared at the she wolf. She looked familiar... the she wolf let out another screech.

"Storm help me!" she howled and Fallen gasped at the silver wolf he just hit threw herself at Zephyr. Fawn! Fallen just stood and watched numbly as Zephyr tossed Storm off his back and lunged at Fawns throat. Fawn emitted a terrified shriek that set Fallens frozen body into action. But before he could reach her a smaller mottled wolf dragged Zephyr off of Fawn. Fallen gasped. Miaso! She just saved Fawns life!

Zephyr turned on Miaso. "How could you do that? I was going to get rid of that filth once and for all!" he growled. Miask shook her head.

"There is nothing honorable about killing a wolf who was already defeated!" she growled back. Zephyr just glared at her then leapt back into the fray.

"Stop this nonsense!" howled a great black wolf with blazing amber eyes. "What is the meaning of this Saber?" he growled. The wolves paused their fighting and parted to let the bloody alpha through.

"You have something of ours." he growled back and flicked his ear. Two wolves dragged a screeching white wolf into the clearing. Tages just nodded.

"Well according to this young wolf, he is not apart of your pack which does not make him yours." Tages stated icily. "And this wolf will be leaving momentarily as a matter of fact." Tages nodded and the white wolf broke free of his captors and raced toward the camp entrance. Fawn broke off from the crowd and raced after him. Saber stared in surprise as this occurred.

"B-but he can't!" he stuttered angrily. "He is part of the cursed pack!"

Tages nodded distractedly. "Yes so it seems Saber but that was years ago!" he barked. His eyes skirted the clearing as he watched Fallen slink through the shadows and race out of the camp after the two young wolves. Good. Tages thought. Three wolves are better than two. "Now leave!" Tages growled and leapt at Saber, planting a huge law on his neck. "And don't come back!" Tages released him and stepped back to watch the forest pack slink out of his camp.

Fallen jumped up from where he was hiding outside the camp walls and ran after the white wolf and Fawn. If he was quick he could catch up to them. He ran on and on until he smelled Fawns sweet scent. But instead of presenting himself he hid behind a bush and listened to what she was saying.

"Kodiac just go to sleep already!" she barked exasperated. There was a low murmur and Fawn sighed. "I don't care if its the first battle you've seen! Just go to sleep already!!" Fallen laughed silently as the white wolf, Kodiac, looked slightly flustered. Fallen shifted his weight but paused as a branch snapped beneath him.

"Who's there?" Fawn called into the darkness.
