The nightmare begins

Rhett's POV

"Jessie calm down. Addison is just a friend." Jessie was really mad at me for inviting Addison over. "A friend that's flying from Colorado to just drop in!" I'm really in the doghouse. "Please just be nice. And for dinner just a heads up she told mr that she's allergic to pepper. So nothing spicy." I walked out of the house and got in the car praying that nothing will go wrong.

Addison's POV

I'm so excited to see Rhett. And I can't wait to meet his wife and children. I'm nervous though. I don't know how his wife reacted to me texting all of a sudden. I mean if I were her I would go ballistic seeing some random girl texting my husband. I decided to put my nerves aside and get some coffee.

Jessie's POV

I don't who she thinks she is but if she thinks that she can just drop in and steal my man then she's sadly mistaken. As for dinner she said she allergic to pepper. I think it's time to have some fun. I had just put my rolls in the oven when there was a knock at the door. "Hello?" "Jessie!" It was Link And his family. "Hello Christi Link." I welcomed them in. About ten minutes later Rhett came home.

Link's POV

You could feel the tension between Rhett and Jessie. It was clear that Jessie didn't want this girl here. I tried to break the silence but Jessie beat me to it. "Shall we have dinner then?" We all went into the he kitchen and sat down. Addison took one bite and started to choke. What he heck is going on here!?

Addison's POV

I took one bite and throat started to swell. I had hoped not to make a fool out to f myself. But I guess that didn't happen.

Rhett's POV

"Addison? Jessie how could you!? I told you that she was allergic to this stuff!"
