I have a pretty normal life. Normal parents. My mom works at a big company with my dad so they don't have time for me. I normally am home alone its not that bad it just gets kind of boring. My parents and I have lived in Helsburg, California ever since I could walk. Helsburg is really small and theres not much to do.

I was a only child ,and when you're 10 that's really boring , but now that I'm 17 I'm okay with it. I think it would be annoying to have a sister or brother , only because they would bug me all the time, but it would also be nice to have some company.

I have 2 close friends, Matt and I met at recess. I was on the swings and John pushed me off because he wanted to swing. Matt came over and helped me up. He looked at John and said

"leave her alone".

"What are you goona do about it?"

"Ill tell the teacher on you".

"Oh please dont!" John said with fear in his eyes. In the second grade telling a adult on someone was a big deal.

"Then say you're sorry!"

"I'm sorry Jordyn" John said looking like he meant it.

"Its okay."

I thanked Matt for helping me and we just have been inseparable ever since.

Taylor and I met in sixth grade. She asked me what I got on the speeling test.

"I failed" I said.

"Me too!" We high fived and started to hang out with eachother and became best friends.

I woke up to see the sun coming in through the blinds. I coverd my face with a pillow, but that didn't work so well. I decide to get up. I got out of but and made my way across my large room to my walk in closet. I decide to wear a black v-neck shirt with black yoga shorts. I through my long blonde hair in to a messy bun.

I made my way down staris only to find that my parents weren't there 'figured'.

I walked in to the kitchen to see our maid, Anna. She was around 45, and I was closer with her than my parents.

"Good morning Jordyn , would you like something to eat?" Anna said

"Yes, please"

"How about your favorite?"

"Fantastic" I said smiling.

Anna started cooking pankcakes with chocolate chips in them.

"Where are mom and dad?"

"Their at a business meeting."

"Of course they are"

"atleast you have me" She said with a smile.

I smiled while she handed me a glass of milk and a pancake.

"Thank you Anna"

"You're welcome sweetie"

Anna got a plate of pancakes and milk and sat down. Most maids don't eat with the family, but Anna is like part of our family.

We use to have a cook , but my parents fired him because he tired stealing money when we were out. He never got to the money because its locked away in a hidden place. My mom and dad are the only ones that know. They won't even tell me because I'm not old enough to know. I'm 17 but I guess that's not 'old enough'.

After Anna and I were both done eating she took my plate and my glass and started doing the dishes.

"Can I help?" I asked

"Jordyn, you always ask me this".

"I know, but-"

"Doing the chores around here is my job. If you did them then why would you need me."

"Well if you are ever tired or don't want to do them then you know where to find me.

"Okay" She smiled.

I went to my room and got my phone and went back down staris to the living room.

Anna came in the living room and said

"I'm done with the house work how about you and me go do something fun."
