My vision began to return and I flinched at the sight of my new deadly surroundings,
"You should have just killed me earlier" I cried.
He chuckled at my desperate request and held me tight into his muscular body.
His nails sank into my thighs and I winced at the indentations,
"I am warning you now. Do not move or make a sound because if you thought earlier was painful, you are in for a store of surprises here" he growled under his breath as we stepped onto a solid surface and I could see we were in an underground train station.
I refused to ignore the menacing warning and clung tightly to him, watching the withered grey troll nudge people out the way to create a walkway.
The troll cautiously guided us through the platform of people and I carefully looked around, ensuring I used only my eyes to inspect the new domain and not move my head to create extra attention.
I could see two dark tunnels at opposite ends of the space as I slowly looked down and saw rats on the train track looking back at me,
"We're in a train station?" I asked with enthusiasm, hoping that my captor had a pang of guilt and was going to take me home.
Unfortunately, I wasn't so lucky.
He looked down at me with rage in his eyes as a blanket of silence swept over the tunnel and I knew this was the reason for his earlier warning.
All eyes were on me as the chatter dispersed and the residence of the platform watched our every move,
"What is that, Tynan?" a middle aged woman asked curiously.
She sauntered over to us in her long, Victorian styled, black fitted coat and inspected me like an animal,
"Just a possible servant for the manor" he replied bluntly.
The woman walked around us, unconvinced of his response and smelt my hair with intrigue.
Her eyes glowed red with fascination, as she snapped open her mouth, revealing her elongated fangs at either side of her pink glossy mouth.
She licked her lips with eagerness and launched forward,
"Amber, Stop!" He ordered to his acquaintance.
A yellow light filled the tunnel to the right.
Loud screeching sounds echoed around us as Tynan held his arm out, hitting the flailing woman in her chest as the force of the impact threw her into the opposite direction and onto the tracks.
The black train came screeching into the platform as the woman attempted to pull herself back up.
Her manicured hands grabbed onto the edge of the platform as the shiny red nails snapped under the pressure of her grasp.
There was a deadly hush and the train doors squeaked opened,
"Master look" the gawping troll said, pointing to beneath the stationed train.
Everyone looked in the direction the small servant was guiding them to and there was a gasp of disbelief.
The hands twitched with vigour as Tynan moved forward for a closer look,
"Maybe now you will listen to me" he seethed.
I cautiously looked down between the small gap on the platform to the train to see the woman's hands still clinging to the edge but with no sign of the rest of her body.
