"CAITLIN NICOLE MILLER GET YOUR ASS DOWN TO THIS KITCHEN!" yelled my Step Father, Richard.

I hopped out of bed in a hurry and ran downstairs. I didn't waist any time, knowing Richard was pissed about something yet again. He stood there red-faced.

"What the hell is wrong with you child? Its almost noon!" he screamed.

I just stood there and took it, I knew better than to argue with him.

"You are such a lazy ass...you we're just planning to sleep the day away, weren't ya? Get started making me and your sister some lunch NOW!" he said while exiting the kitchen.

On his way out, he bumped into my shoulder, sending me into the doorframe. I hit my head and I tried not to wince in front of him. I got started making sandwhiches for Richard and Lauren, my Step Sister. I didn't bother making one for myself, knowing I probably wouldn't eat it anyways.

Richard was always like this about everything. He was such an ass. And so was Lauren. Lauren would don anything to get me into trouble, she was only 13 and she hated me just because her dad did. Honestly, I have no clue why he hates me so much. He always has. He yells at me for no reason...he hits me...

He treats me like shit all the damn time.

And he has no reason to.

I sigh and finish making their lunch. After I hand it to them and heard Richard bitch at me because I forgot his sacred ketchup, I retreat to my room.

At least I can hide up here for a while.
