Falling for Him (A Sebastian Stan Fanfic)

The Meeting

I woke up early the next morning to get ready for work. I thought about it and decided that I should probably message Sebastian real quick seeing as I won't be able to once I get to work, and I definitely don't want him to think I'm blowing him off. I typed a quick text and pressed send before hopping in the shower.

'Good morning. I have someplace to be at 7 this morning and I'm not sure when I'll be done. Would you like to meet before hand or after? Thanks! ~K'

Once out of the shower I put on some light make up and some eyeliner. I also put a section of my hair in a braid and clipped it back to keep it out of my face, I kept the rest of my hair down. I put on an over sized shirt, my skinny jeans, and my tall brown boots. I took a look in the mirror, I was pretty pleased with my appearance. But my parents always told me, it's whats on the inside that counts.

I was about to leave when I saw that I had a new message.

'Hey! Morning to you too, well since I'm up would you like to meet for coffee? I know a pretty good diner. -Sebastian'

I called him for directions and set on my way.

When I reached the diner the sun was making a beautiful horizon. There were only two other cars in the parking lot besides mine. It was a tiny diner I had to admit, but it looked amazing. Like one of those diners that makes a profit from its regulars who come back week after week, year after year. I walked in and saw a man siting at the bar with a t-shirt and a baseball cap, but I couldn't see his face. The only noticeable feature was his blonde hair. As I turned towards the booth I saw a tall brunette man coming my way with a smile on his face. My lord. This is the man who hit my car? He's actually really attractive. Not that I had reason to believe he wasn't, I guess I pictured this like the criminal tv shows. Crazy man lures girl away to murder. Although...good looks doesn't entirely prohibit that...

"Hi! My name is Sebastian. I take it your K?" He held out his hand for me to shake. I politely did.

"Yeah, the name's Kate! Nice to meet you Sebastian."

"I got us a booth right over here" he pointed behind him to a booth with two waters already set out. "That okay?"

I took a second to take in his appearance, Maroon T-shirt, Dark jeans, and nice black shoes. I looked at his eyes and smiled.

"Sounds great! Lead the way!"

Once we sat down he immediately took a sip of his water. He kept glancing behind me as well. I couldn't quite figure it out until I remembered the man at the bar. They must of come together because there's only one other car here. I assume it belongs to the owner since no one else is here but us. He glanced at me before he took another sip and chuckled. I looked back at the guy at the bar only for him to quickly turn his head back around. I stood up almost slowly, the way you would if you were trying to get by a sleeping bear.

"Okay well this way nice, but before anyone tries to murder me I'll be off." I started to turn around only for Sebastian to grab my hand. I immediately turned around and looked down at our hands. He then let go.

"Hahaha. No-ha- wait! This is my friend Chris, Chris get over here and join us. Dear God no wonder you thought that! He looks shadier than anything right now." At this point all three of us burst out laughing. It really was true. "As I was saying this is Chris, I asked him to come in case you were crazy. Or an insane fan of some sort. Chris this is Kate, Kate, Chris."

He introduced us and we shook hands. "Nice to meet you Chris! Your friend attacked my Mini the other day!"

Sebastian looked at our interaction and then at me with a look of mock hurt.

Chris shook his head at the ground while chuckling before responding.

"Nice to meet you too Kate, ha in all honesty, it was kind of my fault. But yea lets blame Seb."

Sebastian put his hands in between us and tried to push us back.

"Hey, hey, hey! Who's the nice gentleman who left the note eh? Yeah that was me!"

We all sat at the booth and talked about the most random of things. Sebastian had insisted on paying for my car, and I told him I would pay for their coffee's. Seeing as the car would cost much more, especially since its European. Chris and Sebastian were currently arguing over some non-sense topic when I realized what he had said earlier. 'Insane fan'? Now that I think about it, they do look familiar, I mean Chris's face is still a bit hidden, but Sebastian does look familiar. They must have noticed me staring because when I came back to reality they were both looking at me and smirking.

"Staring is impolite ya know?" Sebastian said as he positioned himself so that he was now staring at me.

"So is hitting a hard working woman's car." I replied. Chris's mouth hung agape while he looked at Sebastian and me.

"Ohhh BURN Seb! Nice one Kate!" He high-fived me.

Sebastian rolled his eyes and focused his attention back on me.

"But really, what were you thinking about?" I took a sip of my water and then spoke.

"You had mentioned a fan earlier, and you do look kind of familiar, both of you. Have I met you before?"

Chris nearly spit out his coffee before Sebastian quickly spoke.

"No we haven't, but I'm sure you'll think of something soon!" He then smiled.

God, his smile could melt chocolate. I felt my phone alarm go off and I pardoned myself for a moment while I looked at it. Oh no! It was already 6:50, I had to go to work!

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry! I have work to get to and I can't be late!" I stood up and took a ten out of my pocket and set it on the table before either one of them had gotten up.

"I'll call you later, have a good day!"

As I was heading out I heard Sebastian call "wait!" but I couldn't. I couldn't be late on the first day.

Half-way to the modeling agency and it dawned on me...

Oh my gosh...Chris...as in Captain America.

And Sebastian.

I just met Bucky Barnes...
