The basement.
July 5, 1423
My mother got me a new journal for my birthday. I will try to write daily to tell about my experiences in the castle. Then I can pass it onto my future kin. As I examined the leather book I overheard mum and grandmom talking about something in the basement, although nobody goes down there. She told me to not go down there. Which only made me more curious about why they don't want me down there if its okay. As my party continued all I could think about was what's so important in the basement? My candle is starting to burn out. Time for me to sleep, I don't know If ill be able to with the basement stuck in my head.
