Chapter 4

The next morning I heard someone trying to wake me up.

" Anna "

" Anna come on you gotta get up " I open my eyes to see calum smiling at me .

" Finally! You're awake it's 11:20 our friend are gonna be here in about 30 minutes at the most " he informs me.

"I shouldn't stay up so late " I chuckled.

" What time did you go to sleep ?" He questioned

"3 am " I replied

"Why where you up so late ? " he questioned.

" I just couldn't sleep and my thoughts were keeping me up " I say more to myself than him.

" What were you thinking about ? " he asks curiousness lacing his voice.

" You have so many questions don't you cal " I replied with a chuckle

" I'm just a little worried that's all " he says

" I'm okay cal there's nothing to worry about " I reassure him he nodded

" I'm gonna go get ready before they get here " I say

" okay"

I get out of calums bed and make my way to the guest bedroom. I reach into my bag and grab my clothes. Today , I decided put on black shorts and muscle tee . and some black and white converse . I made my way to the bathroom to brush my teeth and comb my hair and decided to just leave it down. I finished and I looked at the time on my phone it read 11:55 I sprayed some perfume on me before exiting the bathroom. I grabbed my phone and headed down stairs to where Calum was in the kitchen.

" It took you almost 30 minutes to get ready " he chuckled

" You take longer than me cal " I say

" So but today I took 20 minutes " he pointed out I chuckled . We ate breakfast and sat on the couch waiting for our friends to arrive , 10 minutes later I get a text from Michael saying there outside me and Calum wave to ms.hood before making our way out the door . Calum waved to Michael and went to take to Jessica since she arrived almost at the same time .

" Hi Michael " I say

" Hey , you got everything you need ? " he say

" Yup , I got everything are you okay ? " he seemed a little down

" Yeah, I'm fine just a little tired I guess " he shrugged

" Well , how about when we go to the beach I'll buy you some ice cream and we can talk about it because I know theirs something else " I say rubbing his back

" Yeah, sounds like a plan you can also tell me what's wrong also you been off lately " he say

" Sounds like a plan " I confirm

" Hey, are you guys ready to go or what? " Jessica says

" Yeah, we're ready " I say with fake smile

We decided to take Calum's car since his car has more room . We get in the car and head to the mall lucky my mom gave me money for the weekend , we pulled into the mall parking lot and parked the car we walk towards the entrance entering the mall.

" Anna's gonna come help me pick out some clothes will meet with you guys in a bit " Jessica says putting her arm around my shoulder . I moved so that he arm fell of my shoulder.

" okay we'll be next door at GameStop " Calum says

Once they gone in the store Jessica stops me.

" Listen here you little b*tch, I know how your close to Calum and I just want you to know that he will never be able to love someone like you. So here's your warning , back off my him "

" Excuse me ? " I say holding my self back from punching her in the face

" Did I stutter? Even if you tried to tell Calum that I told you this he wouldn't believe you " she says

" How would you know that he's my best friend " I say in anger

" Yeah but , it seems to me that he's been drifting away from you so that he can spend time with me and I'm glad he's doing that. Why would he want to spend time with some loser when he can spend time with someone smart and pretty like me " she says stepping closer to me

" You don't know that " I say trying not to let her get the best of me

" Oh but I do " she says with an a smirk that I wanted to slap off her face.

Just as I was about to say something the boys came back.

" Did you guys go to the store ?" Calum say

" I couldn't find anything so we just waited for you guys. " Jessica says Calum nodded in response.

I can't believe this but, she could be right he wouldn't believe that he's perfect girl friend would say something to me like that . So here I am stuck again not knowing what to do anymore .
