Chapter 1 The start of everything

Millie's POV

Sometimes I don't understand why I have these powers. I don't know if there's others like me ,I feel alone. Maybe I should tell somebody at least, and they'll understand me and hopefully wont take me to scientist and do lab experiments on me. "MILL GET UP NOW BREAKFAST !!!" I hear my mom shout "okay I'm coming". I walk down the stairs out of my small room and into the warm quiet living room, no ones barley home and if they are its to eat and sleep.

"Are you excited for school tomorrow?" She already knows the answer so why does she ask "no not really" I replied "why you'll make new friends" "no one really likes me so....",she leaves it as that and continues what ever she's doing. I take my breakfast and go upstairs to my room as I'm walking to my room I feel a strange aura surrounding the room. I see a strange glow from under the door I slowly but my plate down and turn the nob, but my actions are stopped when someone or something opens it for me.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" I screamed as loud as my lungs let me "MILLIE" my mom ram up the stairs then looked at me then up to the- "Millie stop playing around, that was not funny don't ever do that again unless it's a true emergency" my moms green eyes stared into my blue ones. "Just eat your breakfast and don't scare me again"

I do as she says and pick up my food and go into my room," did you really think that she could she me " a drop my plate 'CLASH' "who are you?" I don't know why I asked because there's a four percent chance he wont even give me his name. "William , and just like you I can control a element, I know you can control water" its a lot to t6ake in because honestly I didn't think that there would be others like me. "what's your element?" I asked "my element is wind, now pack your things" " wait, WHAT" I shouted "MILLIE BE QUIET,AND IS THERE SOMEONE IN YOUR ROOM?"

"NO MOM JUST TALKING TO MY SELF" I SHOUTED BACK "ALRIGHT WELL IM GOING TO WORK SEE YOU LATER". I herd the door close and start to pack my things "so William can I tell my mom about this" I didn't want to leave her behind "I don't know we have to ask the principle" I sighed I may never get to see my family again. "I'm ready" I said with my shoulders up and head held high then all of a sudden a portal opened up to someplace unknown "there's no going back, you sure " I looked up at William I'm as ready as ill ever be" then we jumped in the portal.

"So, can you tell me why where in a jungle cause I don't think this is a place for a school" I mean why would William make a portal in the middle of a JUNGLE. "oh yeah, I forgot the portal takes us where ever." Are you kidding me "so you mean to tell me that WERE LOST!!!" "OK ONE CAN YOU STOP SHOUTING PLEASE" William shouted "YOUR SHOUTING" I shouted back angry that we were lost hopefully we can get out of here.

"I swear somethings climbing up my leg" I said wanting to get out this forest "me too" "I just realized something, William you said you have the element of wind right?" "yeah" "YOU IDOIT, STUPID IDOIT WE CAN FLY OUT OF HERE" "oh yeah oopps...hehe" William blushed in embarrassment ." So should we fly out of here" "anything to get out of here" I got on his back and rode into the sunset, just kidding above the trees.

Finally after thirty minuets we arrived at the school "so this is what, wait you never told me the schools name" " Elemental academy" he said proud of his school but I have to say so, Cliche "cool" I said not wanting to be rude "well see you later got to go to class bye" he said as he was running off "and there goes my guide, and nobody looks really nice" I sighed and then went to go find a map of the school.

Right now I am terribly lost and I really missed my mom and the others I suddenly bumped into someone and fell "WATCH WHERE YOUR GOING " it was a girls voice that shouted and judging by the fire in her hands she was a fire elemental just my luck "I am so sorry" I said feeling really sorry for myself and, her kind of well really me!!! "I am so sorry please forgive me" "yeah what ever, are you new?" "yeah.. my guide kind of left me" "really who was your guide" she asked me "William" "let me tell you where he is, and my names Flare"

I knocked on the door that Flare told me to knock on "I'm coming ,just a couple of seconds". Why does waiting for him to answer the door take a couple of MINUTES I knocked again. "I'm coming I'm coming jeez" he finally opens the door I smile a fake smile and say "well hello William how was 'class" he shifted uncomfortably "umm it was ok I guess "he said nervously. Still smiling I said "why so nervous there's nothing to be nervous about." "look I'm really sorry for leaving you ok " "okie dokie, and can you show me to the headmaster" "Sure"

"so, why does he have to come along?" "he's just traveling along with me" William said "my names Eathon by the way" and I found out he's a earth elemental well water beats rock so.. "we're here " William said "so this is the headmasters office?" I asked "yeah dummy why did we stop at this door" Eathon said like the grumpy person he is I stayed silent. Knock, Knock "come in" a voice told us somehow the voice sounded familiar I couldn't put my finger on it. We walked in the room would have been normal if it wasn't for the elements flowing all around. "is this the new girl you were talking about?" the headmaster asked I looked at William and Eathon they both looked serious, "yes this Millie she has the power to control the element of water".
