"Come on babe! We were supposed to go to the mall an hour ago!" I groaned hitting his face with a pillow. He scrunched up his cute little face. "Okay okay, I'm up." He rubbed his eyes open. "Why are we going to the mall again?" He asked going to the bathroom. We were currently at his apartment. "Because you wanted to buy some things. And then afterwards, we have dinner with my actual parents.." I said rolling my eyes. Cameron and I have been officially together for about a month. Things have been great. I feel like the decision I made was perfect. No timing necessary. "Oh right, I can't believe I forgot. For some reason, I'm not nervous." He said with his face scrunched up with confusion. "Yeah well, that's because you've already met the most important people in my life. Now you're meeting the people who conceived me." I laughed. "Why do you hate them so much babe?" He asked sitting next to me. "Because, everything I do has to be approved by their manager so that my parents don't look like fools. If I go out and get drunk with friends, it makes them look like bad parents. They never let me go out without having their hair and makeup crew fixing me up. Wardrobe puts on the clothes they want me to wear. It's like they want to control every aspect of my life. Like why can't I go to Target in my workout clothes? Why do I have to be all done up just to buy some bread?" I said a little frustrated. "But I'm sure all they want is the best for you." He kissed me on the forehead. "Yeah, everyone thinks that before they actually meet them. We'll see. Now come on. Go put some clothes on. I'll be in the car." I said wanting to wrap up the conversation and move on.

So even though we have been dating for the past month, we haven't made it "official" to the public. It's official to us and our close family and friends, but we decided to keep it on the down low for just a month or two. Cameron said that the hate can get pretty bad, and he's seen some of is friends girlfriends break down. I already told him that that kind of stuff doesn't really get to me. I mean of course, like everyone, we have a bad day and you believe everything and anything that people say about you. But I know what the hate is like because of my parents. But I made him wait and if he wants to wait on this, then we shall wait. I feel like Cameron and I really understand each other. It's really nice to know someone else that is always under the spotlight, yet is completely humble about it.

"Alright, we got my shoes, your shoes, pillows, blankets, a coffee machine, some clothes.. I think we're done."  Cameron said looking at the bags we were both holding. "Thanks again for the shoes, I've been eyeing them for like ever!" I said hugging him. I had to be careful on what I do when we're in public. Sometimes I forget and that could cause some major problems. "Yeah I've seen you walk by them like a hundred times. Anything to keep my girl happy." He whispered. We walked back to the car and put all the bags in the trunk. "So what is the attire for tonight?" He asked as we drove back to his place. "Um, well it's my parents so nothing casual. If anything, you should wear a tie.." I said embarrassed. "Really?" He asked chuckling. "I'm dead serious. I'll be wearing a fancy dress, and that's me wearing the bear minimum. They'll probably comment on the "rags" I'll be wearing." I sighed. "Come on! Let's just have fun dressing up. I'm sure they won't say a thing because you look stunning in anything." Do you ever get that feeling in the pit of your stomach that makes you want to smile so big and it makes you feel like you're wanted. That's how he makes me feel. Like I'm the only person in the world. I don't know how he does it, but it's an amazing feeling. No one, not ever has made me feel this type of way. I have a feeling being with him is going to be a positive thing in my life. The changes will be amazing, the times spent with each other will be unforgettable.

"How does this look" He asked trying on his third outfit. "I think that's the one. It's the fanciest." I giggled fixing his tie. "This one it is then." He said looking down at me. "So when can I see you in your outfit?" He asked style his hair in the mirror. "Oh I actually brought it with me so we could leave at the same time." I said walking to the bed and taking out the dress. It was about 5 inches above my knees. It was a black dress that was for fitting at the top and lose and the bottom. "Damn you are going to look so good." He said kissing me. "Cam come on.. I have to get ready!" I giggled in between his kisses. "Fine. Only because you're my girl." He winked going back to fixing his hair. SEE WHAT I MEAN?! THE FEELS MAN. I slipped off my clothes and stepped into the dress. "Can you zip me up?" I asked facing my back towards him. His warm hands tingled against my skin as he pulled the zipper up. It let chills throughout my body.  "Alright. Does this look decent?" I asked twirling around. "If they tell you those are rags, I swear they don't know what they are talking about." He smirked. "Thanks Cameron. Kind of means a lot. Are you almost ready?" I asked putting on my heels. "Just about. Do you want to go tell Nash we're leaving?" He asked putting his socks on. I nodded and walked over to Nash's room. I knocked a few times. "I'm not naked." He replied making me laugh. "Glad to know." I smiled walking in. "Oh hot damn. Where are you going?" He said eyeing me. "Dinner with my parents." I sighed sitting on the bed. Nash and I have gotten really close this past month. He's one of the only friends that know Cameron and I are dating. Not even Nora and Kayla know because I know they would run out and tell people. "Wait, your actual parents right? Not the cool ones?" He asked sitting up. "Yup. So we'll see how it goes. I hope they don't do anything too bad." I smiled. "I'm sure it'll be fine. Either way, Cam isn't dating your parents. He's dating you." He said jokingly.  "Very true. Great pep talk." I laughed. "Yeah I'm a professional, what do you expect?" He shrugged. "Hey are you spending the night tonight?" He asked laying back down. "No, but I think Cameron is staying at my place. Why?" I asked raising an eyebrow. Nash never asked if I was spending the night, he always assumed I would. "Oh nothing." He blushed. "NASH TELL ME!" I yelled sitting on him. "Nope!" He said popping the 'p'. "I swear if you don't tell me, I'll Cameron you're cheating on him." I joked. "You wouldn't" He scowled. "Oh, but I would!" I smirked. "FINE! I have a girl coming over tonight." He blushed. "Is that why your room is so clean?! I need details!" I screeched. "Her name is Blaire, I met her a while back and we've been talking I guess, and I finally asked her to come over for dinner." He smiled. "So you're ordering take out?" I laughed. "Only the best chinese food in town!" He smirked. "Well, good luck to you Nash. You deserve it. Now I'm off to see the people who gave birth to me." I said getting up. "Don't listen to what they say, everyone else in the world knows you are amzing and the most humble person out there. And you know who you are, that's all that matters." He said giving me a hug. "Thanks, I really needed to hear that." I smiled hugging him back. I walked out of his room and met Cam by the door. "After you." He bowed. I coourtesy and walked out.

"Alright, are you ready?" I asked as he parked the car. "Yeah, are you?" He asked raising his eyebrow. "Most definietly not. But lets get it over with." I smiled. We walked up to the door. A million thoughts were racing in my head about my parents. What will they say, what will they think, what will they do?

"Darling! You're 3 minutes late." My mother answered the door. "Nice to see you too mother." I rolled my eyes. "Stand up straight. You've got a hunched back." She hissed. I straightened up and look at her. "This is Cameron Dallas, my boyfriend." I said introducing them. "Hi, Nice to meet you." Cameron said extending his hand for a hand shake. "He is not your boyfriend until we approve of him. We can't just have you dating random guys Inez." She said annoyed and walked back into the house. "You know what mother? I'm done. I hate living this way. You guys can't tell me what to and not to do. I mean not this way. Telling me what I can and cannot wear, what I can't eat, what I can't do, it's not fair. " I spoke up. Never have I ever done this. "Do not talk to your mother like that." My father yelled. "Nope, I'm absolutely done. I have always respected you guys, but you guys have never given my the time of day." I said tearing up, not from sadness but from frustration. "As long as you are living under our house, you will go by our rules." My mom cocked a smirked. "Well then I guess I'm moving out. I'll go get my things." I said running of to the guest house. Cameron right behing me. "Um, so I'm guessing dinner is off?" Cameron furrowed his eyebrows. "Very funny." I said kind of annoyed. This wasn't a funnything, it was frustrating and emotional. "I'm sorry babe. Come here." He said embracing me. "You're gonna be just fine okay? You can stay with Nash and I." He said rubbing my back. "Thanks Cam, just until I find my own place." I said getting a few suitcases and stuffing all my necessities. Cameron helped out too. "I think thats all I need. I can buy everything else." I said standing up.

We walked out and got into his car. "I am SO not going to miss this place." I saig looking back at the house. We drove home in silence, not an awkward one. More like one that was much needed. Cameron kept looking at me to see if I was okay. "I'm fine, really." I sighed. He just kept nodding and held my hand. "We can put your stuff in my room." He said as we each grabbed a couple suitcases and bags. We walked in and I totally forgot about Nash's date!

"Oh my god I'm sorry Nash!" I said sadly. "Oh I didn't know you were having company." Cameron smirked. "It's okay... This is Blaire. Blaire this is Cameron and Inez." He said introducing us. "Oh my god! You're Inez, as in Preston and Sophia's daughter right?!" She said exitedly which only made me angry and sad all at the same time. "Um, yeah you shouldn't have said that." Nash said looking at me with sorry eyes. "Oh I'm sorry. Is something wrong?" Blaire asked. How could I be mad at her? It's not like she knows exactly what's going on. "Yeah I'm fine. You guys can continue, Cameron and I will be in the room." I said getting my things and walking to his room. "We can unpack tomorrow okay? Let's just call it a night." Cam said changing into some comfortable clothes.I did the same and slipped under the covers.

Did that really just happen? I stood up to my parents, but now I'm on non speacking terms with them. Was this the right thing to do? Or is this going to tear my life apart?
