You toss and turn in your bed but you just cant get to sleep, noises just keep buzzing in your ears and you just can’t get comfortable enough.
Its too hot, but at the same time its too cold, your body just cannot decide which temperature to stay at, there is nothing you can think to do to sort out your problem, you feel so tired but you cannot rest.
Your lover, Jinxx, is out with the boys, so you suspect, you wished he was here to help you sleep, he was great at that because he was just so comforting. You lay on your back and close your eyes, fed up of this problem, fed up of always being tired.
A soft finger trails up your cheek and cups it softly, the thumb brushing up and down your cheek soothingly as lips press gently onto your lips, the familiar scent of cologne lingers in the air.
"Can’t sleep again baby?" His voice whispers in your ear.
You shake your head and place your hand on top of his which lies on your cheek as he kisses you again softly, his smooth lips feeling good on your own, making you feel comfortable and safe.
"Would you like me to play Overture for you, sweetie?"
"Yes please" You smile at his generous offer as he kisses your lips one last time before getting up to retrieve his violin that is stashed in a case in a cupboard.
Jinxx sits back down as you lean your head on his lap softly, your ear pressed against his thigh as you close your eyes.
He presses the violin to his chin as his arm holding the bow starts to smoothly move across the violin strings, the beautiful noise emerging into the intro to Overture.
The notes run through your head, the beautiful passionate song singing to you like a mother singing a Lullaby to her child, so much love and affection is put into this song. Your head clears as your body relaxes, your mind starts to get blurry as the sounds softly fade away while you fall into a peaceful sleep, your head still on Jinxx’s lap.
"Goodnight (Y/N), my beautiful angel" He whispers as he kisses your cheek before he rests your head onto a pillow and softly pulls a blanket over your body.
