Chapter 1

Morven Elizabeth Shreve. A beautiful young soul, full of passion in her eyes, and hair that's perfect as it is. I want to express my love to you as loving as I can. Digby thought of this moment perfectly inside his head, imagining and wishing that one day he could declare his love. He knew Serena wouldn't approve of this, but he was determined to tell Morven of his love formally. Walking into work, Digby made eye contact with Morven the moment he stepped in. Casually daydreaming into her eyes, he was unaware that Serena was watching. Clicking her fingers, Digbys eyes flickered for a second then turned back to gazing back at Morven.
"Dr Digby, I cannot help but notice you're drooling. Stop that this instant and get changed. I've got a case I need you to help me with" Serena said with a tone that Digby knew not to argue with.
"Oh sorry Ms Campbell. I'll be back in a minute" Digby walked quickly to the changing rooms. Returning to the wards, Serena walked over to Digby while he was fiddling about with his shoes.
"Finally Dr Digby. You're changed and ready to go. Okay here is Matthew Chambers, admitted to the ed with abdo pains. I need your help in diagnosis. Initial thoughts?"
"Erm... Could be appendicitis?" Digby relied, still thinking about Morven in the back of his mind.
"Dr Digby, I'll leave Matthew in your capable hands, meanwhile I need a chat with Dr Shreve" she replied with her glare.
Serena went to fetch Morven and as she did, Digby made eye contact with her and mouthed 'good luck, I love you'. Morven rolled her eyes and walked into Serena's office.
