Corals POV
I walk to the front door, a noose hidden in my purse. Brian looks up at me then his attention goes back to the television. He watching the football game. I told this would happen. I told him the urge would be stronger every living moment. Then one day, he just ignored me. It's been 3 weeks. I miss him but, it's clear he doesn't miss me.
I walk out the front door and into the crisp Autumn air. I jog to the forest behind the house. I take the noose out of my purse and hang it on a branch on the tree I shared my first kiss with him. The branch on the other side of this tree was the place he asked me to be his girlfriend. I thought about all the memories I had and how I was throwing them away. But, my parents and my boyfriend were ignoring me. As if I was the invisible man, or woman. I grabbed the step-stool that I hid behind another tree. I slipped my head through the noose. As I pushed away the step-stool all I saw was nothing. Nothing. Then, everything went black.
