Maya hadn't recalled much from the previous night. The kisses she'd shared with Lucas had been seemingly drunken, the friction of their bodies moving together had left her unable to remember, and their entire session had simply seemed like a fairytale. An unbelievable fairytale.

           Until it wasn't.

The fantasy continued on after the "love-making" was over - with Maya asleep on Lucas's chest. Neither of them had bothered to dress themselves, further proving how comfortable they were around each other. They were simply laying with one another as the sun rose, shining in through Maya's uncleaned window, both in a state of being, of which they were neither awake, nor were they asleep.

"Hey, Lucas?" Maya caressed the boy's toned chest, speaking in a soft tone he'd never heard her use before.

"Yeah?" Lucas responded, teasing the blonde's hair with his broad fingers as he stared upward at the ceiling, allowing his senses to speak, rather than his mind.

"I like us like this." Maya smiled as she spoke. She promptly repositioned her body, looking up at Lucas with wide blue eyes, "I like that I just woke up, and you're here."

Lucas smiled back at her, shifting his chin downward so he could get a better look at her. "Me, too." He moved his hand slightly, cupping her cheek and gently pushing a strand of light hair away from her round - however, extremely pretty - face.

Maya simply looked at him then, the corners of her mouth positioned upwards. It was a few seconds before she said two words once more. "Hey, Lucas?"

          "Yeah?"

"I think I'd like to wake up like this more often." Maya ran her tongue over her top lip and blinked once or twice.

Lucas grinned and came onto her, planting a small kiss onto her forehead. "So would I."

          "Hey, Lucas?"

           "Yeah?"

"I think I'm falling in..." That was when Maya's phone chimed, illuminating the - otherwise yellow-tinted - bedroom with it's the pale light. The blonde had received a text. Maya reached over to see what was going on. As she read the message, her eyes widened, and she immediately bolted out of bed, pulling on all her clothes. "SHIT!"

Lucas sat up, his eyes wide with confusion. "What is it?" He asked, making sure he was still covered with Maya's blanket as he stared at her.

Maya bolted across the room, where her shorts could be found. "I promised Riley we'd hang out today." She pulled on her pants in a panicked state, then checked her reflection in the mirror, adjusting her blonde tresses just so.

"Oh." Lucas said in a small mummer, stiffening. He'd forgotten about Riley. For the moment, the mention of her name only brought back hideous memories he'd rather forget.

"Yeah." Maya's outfit was now complete. She ran to Lucas, and gently kissed his cheek. "I'll see you later."

As she began to walk away, Maya felt a hand take hold of her wrist, and she spun round, finding herself against Lucas's body, him holding her waist as he gently collided his lips with her. After a few seconds, he pulled away, a star-struck Maya greeting him as he opened his eyes.
