Chapter 4

We were waiting outside for the rest of the seekers to get to my house. I looked over at Richard

and sent him a mind message ( my word for it )  Hey how did you know what was going on anyway

? And how did you know where i live? I questioned him and he turned over to look at me and

said Well i was listening in on your thoughts and i figured you might need some help explaining the

situation to your friends. So i followed  your bus to your house and waited for the right time to come

and help......Your welcome.* He said with a smirk as i looked at him shocked, feeling a loss of

privacy. 

* You listened in on my thoughts !* I scowled at how inconsidrate he was being. He gave me an

innocent look and i just glared at him. Look i'm sorry but it was for the best wasn't it? I mean how

well do you think they all would have handled it if  you tried explaining anymore about it ?  He said. I

sighed I guess your right theywould have completely flipped out......again. But don't go

snooping around my mind again. Got it ? I thought shooting him another glare. He smiled then

said You know ,it's hard not to, i mean your minds like an open book to me. Like i said

before i can show you how to block your mind from me and other demons. If you want that is.I

suddenly got really excited and nodded my head vigorously.

He chuckled and i joined him. Everyone looked very confused and for once i actually knew why he

laughed randomly. It felt good to be a part of a little inside joke. we grinned at each other

and shrugged as they others gave us questioning looks. That's when two cars pulled up at the

curb, we walked up to the hummer i saw before and a tan mini van. The two looked very odd sitting

next to each other. Gertty  got out of the mini van and i said " Umm whats with the strange variety ?"

looking past her as  the others got out of both vehicles. She rolled her eyes then said " well I

thought  we should try and blend in but we needed a car to fit a lot of people and Leo

thought it shouldn't matter what the humans thought.......so he bought the stupid hummer. " She

said looking over  with a glare at Leo, as he petted the hummer with affection. Ha ! what a strange

guy..................

" Whats with guys and cars anyway? I seriously don't get it, it's just a stupid car." I stated picking up

my suitcase full of clothes and most important things. I was walking over to the back of the hummer

as Leo said" Hey she didn't mean it Linda....." He whispered to "Linda" giving it a peck on the side

mirror. I laughed as Francis grabbed my suitcase and opened the hummer and put it

in the trunk. " Thanks, but it wasn't that heavy." I said to him. He looked over at me and

said " Doesn't mean i can't be a gentlemen though, right? " He said giving me a small smile.
