When we arrived home, I get changed into a blue summer dress and white sandals as it was still quite hot. Tristan had arrived but Connor took him straight to his room before I'd seen him so they could discuss important band stuff. I decided I would go downstairs and ask dad about my new school.
As I left my room, Connors bedroom door opened. A tall guy with light blonde hair and blue eyes stood in the doorway, his cheekbones were really prominent along with his jaw line. His hair was styled into a sort of quiff. This must have been Tristan. We both froze staring at each other and taking in each other's features. I had to admit, he was really hot.
"I'm Elle, Connor's sister," I stuttered awkwardly, we were looking into each other's eyes. "It's nice to meet you."
"Uh, hi I'm Tristan, nice to meet you too," he said smiling, he looked adorable wearing black skinny jeans a white tee and a light blue denim jacket which matched his eyes.
"Tris, what are you doing?" I heard Connor say from his room. He appeared behind Tris. "Oh hi Elle, what are you doing?"
"I was about to go ask dad about school," I told him, Tristan was awkwardly looking at the ground.
"Oh you'll be coming to school with me and the boys, we spoke to the school and they said you'll be in Paul's class," Connor said, I was relieved that I was going to know at least one person in my class.
"Who's Paul?" Tristan asked curiously. Connor glared at him slightly but then smirked.
"Our next door neighbour," Connor winked at me. Tristan gave me a questioning look but I just shrugged having no idea what was on Connor's mind. I headed downstairs to go and talk to dad.
Dad was cooking dinner for us, mum still hadn't arrived but she had tested to say that there was a lot of traffic. Ann had gone out for dinner with a friend so only 4 of us were going to be there.
"Hey dad, what are we doing about school?" I asked, he turned around and smiled. "Ann got your school uniform the other day, that should be in your wardrobe. As for your school books, Connor has some old ones which you can use, I'm sure you have everything else you need."
"Thanks dad, I'll go ask Connor for the books now otherwise I'll forget." I said and skipped back upstairs. I got to Connor's door but I could hear singing, it wasn't a song I'd heard before but it sounded great. I stood listening at the door.
"Here I go again
You got my heart
Tonight we'll dance
I'll be yours and you'll be mine
We won't look back,
Take my hand and we will shine
Opposition
She needs a wild heart
I got a wild heart"
I knocks on the door and they stopped immediately, I walked in, Tristan was blushing and Connor was nervously fiddling with his sleeves.
"Hi guys, Con, dad said you had some old school books I could use? And by the way, that was amazing!" I complimented them. Tristan blushed even more and Connor grinned.
"Thanks and yeah, they're on the bottom shelf of my bookcase," Connor said pointing towards the wall opposite him, the bookcase was huge, it went from the floor to the ceiling and it was filled with books. I quickly scanned them all and I wasn't surprised to see how many books on music he had.
Connors room was painted white but you could hardly see any of the walls. One of the was covered in posters and pictures of him and his friends. Another had 6 guitars hung up on the wall, I quietly admired them, it was obvious Connor took good care of them. The other two walls were taken up by furniture, he had a huge wardrobe opposite his bed and I wondered how many clothes he could possibly have to fill it.
