Visiting friends

Smiling up at the plain ceiling feels nice. For once everything feels normal. Not like my best friend died, not like I'm the most powerful mage on earth, not even like I'm planning to destroy a guild. Just like I'm Lucy Heartfilia.

My room was simple compared to my old one, and it was comforting and magical. Everything felt soft and fluffy thanks to Aries, but at the same time stylish, thanks to Leo. Cancer managed to fit in a dressing table with all hair essentials. Aquarius had framed a quote saying:  I have a date tonight with my bed, we're totally gonna sleep together  signed with 'good luck getting a boyfriend (;' .

Lav was still asleep, so I took the opportunity to get up and dressed, pulling on black jeans, my black boots and a grey tank top, showing off my new guild mark. Brushing my hair into a loose bun, I clipped it with a small blue dragon. Walking over to the bed I nugged Lavender waking her up. "Lavender, we need to go now, I'm going to visit some old friends, prepare them before they hate what I'm going to do". Yawning Lav nodded and tugged my hair, expecting me to teleport there.  "Oh no lazybones, we're going to walk there". Grinning at her little pout, I added "did I forget to mention theres another flying cat there. I bet she'll love to meet you"

The train ride to magnolia was rather boring. Lav had fallen asleep, and most of the carriage was empty. Before we had left, Yukino had stopped and welcomed me to the guild, and introduced me to the rest of them. I had tried to act like I didn't know them, but I couldn't help but be rather cold to Minerva. She had completely changed for the last time I met her, she's kind and warmer, yet I felt like I couldn't forgive her just yet for what she did to me at the grand magic games.

When we got there, I walked straight to fairy tail, to find it completely the same. I set up a microscopic camera outside the front, the slipped inside as a shadow, setting up 4 more. Coming back out I dragged Lavender to Fairy hills, and set up some more. Once I had finished I looked over to Lav who looked confused. "want cake?" I asked. Of course she wanted cake.

"Lu, why did you set up all those cameras?" she questioned, not bothering to look up from her strawberry cheese cake. I didn't particularly want to buy that cake because of memories, but Lave insisted. " I don't want to bump into any of them before the grand magic games, I can't risk snapping before it's even begun" Lav nodded and carried on eating. Swiping my had across the air, a holographic computer screen appeared in front of me, showing everything that was happening around the cameras. I zoomed in onto Mira, who had just been approached by the master. No. Not the master. Makarov. "where's team natsu?" "Oh they just went on a quest, but Wendy's got a cold, so she's decided to stay in" "ok , i-   I flicked the screen off, glad of my great timing. "Lavender, I think it's time to go visit my old friend now" "kk Lu"

Standing in front of Wendy's door felt better then I thought. I was finally going to reconnect with a friend. Not Lav who I spend every day with, not the people in sabertooth, who are nice but not my friends, and not Nov who I don't even know what we are. I turned to Lav and smiled who in turn excitedly knocked on the door. "Who's there, I'm sorry but I can't really go on a quest today I've got a col-" I opened the door and stepped in. Wendy was still in bed with Carla next to her trying to put  blanket over Wendy. Wendy gasped and sat up.

"How did you get in here? I may have a cold but" she sniffed "but I can still do magic!" Deciding to stay silent, with Lavender looking at me curiously I turned around revealing my Sabertooth guilded mark. The one that looked the same as Levy's. "Sabertooth? Levy? But sh-" As I slowly spun myself back around,I turned my eyes back to the rather boring chocolate brown eyes, and turned my hair into the old blonde. I let my body become its natural look.

"LUCY" Carla flew up in the air in surprise and Wendy stumbled out of bed. "holy mavis your  alive! You've been gone for two years!" She burst into tears and ran into me, wrapping her arms around my waist.
