Paige's POV:

"Mom!? Mom where are you?" a five year old called out in a huge crowd. "Mommy where are you!?" the five year old cried and cried, people walking around her leaving her to cry. A tall man comes up to the little girl, taking her hand and trying to console her. "Its alright little one, come with me... I'll help you find your mommy." He smiles and the little girl follows him. Her mother sees and calls for her little one to come back. Nothing brings her back as a gun shot is heard ringing out the area."

I wake up, lacking in breath and I huff, sweating and frantically looks around. Bed sheets that aren't mine are tangled around me and the room isn't mine at all. I sigh, trying to steady my shallow heavy breathes. I run my hands through my greasy hair and get up, my hit hitting cold hard wood floor. I wince as the cold runs up my spine. I take a small blanket and wrap it around my shoulders and realize they are bare and I am only in a tank top and shorts. I don't remember changing. I panic for a bit and run to a window, it pouring rain and then everything floods back to me all too much to remember the pain so I fall to my knees, my hand clutching my shirt front tightly as tears hit the floor. I cry softly, putting my head on my arm, still clutching my shirt front near my heart. I hear a door creak open and foot steps. I lift my head heavily and turn my head to the door and it slowly cracks open and Wesley's head pops in.

"Are you okay Paige?..." He walks in, only in lose shorts and no shirt. My throat gets tight as tears spill down my face as they shine in the moonlight from the opened window. I sniffle as more memories flood back and as more tears spill and I struggle up and run over to him and hug him tightly and sob. I feel him tense up a bit but then relax as he hugs me back to comfort me. It stayed silent for a while until I calm myself.

"You alright now?" He strokes my hair slowly and repeatedly, soothing me and calming my raging heart. I nod and bury my face deeper into his chest.

"I-I'm kinda th-thirsty now..." I look up into his eyes and he smiles, making his eyes sparkle, my throat constricting  again.

"Okay. I know a good tea to brew to help with sleep problems." He picks me up by the side of my arms, making me shiver so I place the blanket around my shoulders and walk with him down the stairs to his kitchen. He flicks the light on, causing the kitchen to flood in bright light, making me flashback. I hear Wesley's voice distantly and someone shaking me. I shake my head and snap out of it.

"Hey! Earth to Paige! You in there?" His beautiful face was etched with worry and I blink.

"I-I'm sorry... J-Just..." I shake my head.

"Never mind..." I speak up and sit on a stool. He just nods and goes to the pantry and fridge getting things while I place my head on my arms, looking out the closest window. It felt like hours but only five more minutes later, Wesley brings me a cup of tea that smelled absolutely delicious.

"Here ya' go Paige." he smiles at me and I take the mug in my hands as they start to shake. I get an idea so I get up, walk over to him, and wave him down. He leans down and I get on my tip toes and kiss his cheek as I shuffle back up the stairs to the room I was in, looking back to see Wesley stunned and blushing harshly. I smile sheepishly and go into the room, closing the door, drinking the tea and setting the mug on the nightstand, getting back under the covers and the tea quickly working, making me doze off completely in only 2 minutes, falling into a deep sleep a minute later.
