Epilogue

Piper's POV

I sat on the bench, the wind blowing my hair in all directions. I felt tears slip down my cheek. Eric had recently died with our wedding only 2 months away. Jason, I realised hadn't moved on.

I was happy I meant that much to him but realised that maybe he thought he meant nothing to me which was far from the truth. I would never get over him, whether I want to or not.

He was my first love and will always hold a special place in my heart.

I picked up my sling bag and made my way back to my apartment.

I was going to be strong for Eric. I would get on with life coz I knew that's why he would want me to do.

Suddenly I saw a bouquet of roses in the terrace. I went out and picked it up. The message brought tears to my eyes.

I hope you are doing okay. I recently heard about Eric and I am sorry. I k ow he made you happy and that's all I want, for you to have that smile on your face forever.
