I waved to Nino as he left and went down the other street. I wanted to walk home with him to day. I continued down my road and they I heard crying coming from an alleyway. I walked into it to see if the person I saw was my crush from school, (Y/n). I knelt down in front of her and held both of her hands, "(Y/n), are you okay?" She appeared to be fine aside from her scar she had from a couple years ago.
She opened her eyes and sniffled, "Get it, g-get it away from m-me." her voice was hoarse. She must have been in here for a while. She pulled one of her hands from my and meekly pointed at the corner of the alley. I looked and saw a black cat with green eyes that practically glowed. Heh, kind of like me.   "It's just a cat, (Y/n). It's harmless."
"Get it... away. P-Please A-Adrien." she cried. My eyebrows furrowed, I took her hand and stood up, taking her with me. I kept holding her hand as I lead her out of the alley way. Once we left the place, she came into my arms crying. I rubbed circles into her back, what about that cat made her cry?
"(Y/n), do you want me to walk you home?" I asked. She nodded her head just a little bit as it was still pressed against my chest. She took a step back away and lead on to her home, she wiped away the tears from her eyes. Her grip on my hand was tight.
We've gotten down the street but she wouldn't speak. She sniffled a couple of times and opened her mouth to speak but quickly shut it. "(Y/n), mind telling me why you were in that alley way?" I asked.       She nodded, "I... I have Ailurophobia... it's the fear of cats..."
  "You're scared of cats?"
"When I was little, a cat attacked me. I was trying to pet it but it didn't want me too and scratched my cheek which drew blood and even my chest. A few years later I ended up repeating the same mistake. When I tried to pet another cat and it scratched me. It had such sharp claws this one drew blood too. I guess that's when I started fearing them." she confessed.
"Maybe you just met some hostile cats, not all of them are bad."
"I know I just... I'm scared, it's irrational. I already know that but I'm still scared of them."
We walked in silence to her home, it was just a simple two-story house. She thanked me and gave me a hug. When I left her house I realized that I could help her get over her fear of cats.

I rang the doorbell to her home, three kittens inside of my backpack. When she opened the door, she was surprised to see me. "Hey, (Y/n), mind if I come in?" I asked.
"Um, sure, Adrien." she said. She moved to the side and so I entered. One of the kittens mewed and I saw her tense, "A-Adrien, p-please tell me you didn't bring in a cat."
"I did, but I wanted to help you get over your fear, if you're willing that is."
She fumbled with her hands. The girl looked around her house as she bite her lip in a cute way. "I.. I guess." I smiled and I could have sworn she blushed.
We went into her living room and sat down on the couch. I lifted the kittens out of the backpack and placed them one by one onto (Y/n)'s lap. She grew tense when the final kitten was on her. She moved her hands near them but they trembled right next to them. The orange kitten nuzzled her trembling hand, a wobbly smile was placed onto her face.
"Not bad so far, right?" I asked with a smile. She nodded, she slowly started petting the kitten to which it purred. The gray kitten stood slightly on its hind legs, its paws resting on her stomach. She reached to it and petted it. Her hands didn't tremble as much.
"They aren't so bad..." (Y/n) said.
I smiled and petted the black kitten that laid curled up in her lap. I felt a pair of lips on my cheek which quickly went away. I turned to face (Y/n) and she was blushing madly.
"T-Thank you, Adrien. For helping me earlier and helping me get over my fear." she stuttered.
I smiled, cupping her face with my hand. Her face was warm with the blood that rushed to it. "You're welcome." I leaned in and my lips met hers. Our lips move together in sync- that is until the orange cat booped our cheeks. We pulled apart and stared at the ginger-furred kitty.
It purred fondly. "Looks like he likes attention." (Y/n) giggled.
I smiled and petted the cat as I entwine my fingers with (Y/n). Her hand clutched tight against mine and I knew that day was the beginning of two different thing; (Y/n)'s love for cats and (Y/n) and I's love for each other.
