After our delicious breakfast, I hurried to my room. I wanted to get a quick shower so that I was ready to go.

Mason and Jamie went for a walk to the park so I didn't need to worry about them pranking me while I'm in the shower.

Last time, well lets just say it was cold and I got locks on both of the bathroom doors now.

After my shower, I wondered to my room and got dressed into a white sweater, and light washed skinny jeans.

My hair was naturally curled, so I left it as it is. I applied light makeup, then checked my phone.

I saw I had a message from my boyfriend, Jake.

Ja // Goodmorning gorgeous 😘

I smiled and blushed, then replied back.

Je // Goodmorning handsome 😘

I set my phone down and grabbed my wallet. Before I left my room, I also picked up my phone again and carried everything downstairs with me.

I was nervous to go to the hospital and have this meeting.

I've already said something about it to the girls and they agreed it was something important. We just didn't want to scare Jamie.

I checked the time and saw it was 11:49 A.M. Mason would be leaving soon.

The meeting wasn't until 3:00 P.M., but I wanted to leave at 1:00, so that we could go see Elena.

She was my daughter and I was still extremely worried about if she would pull through.

I walked into the kitchen and sat down, scrolling through twitter and following a few accounts.

Mason and Jamie were laughing about something in the living room. I turned, and saw a Camel throwing off its' rider.

I was confused at what they were watching, but chuckled a bit at their silliness.

I heard a knock at the door, so I set my phone down and quickly went to open the door.

Masons  mom was standing at the door, I smiled at her and she returned the gesture.

"Hey, come in I'll tell Mason you're here." I said as she took a few steps in.

I went to the living room where the younger girls were.

"Mason your mom is here." I said.

"Ok." She replied. Her and Jamie then hurried to Jamie's  room to get her stuff.

I walked back to the kitchen and shared a small conversation with Masons mom while we waited for them.

Soon enough the girls said their goodbyes and Mason left. Jamie poured a glass a tea and sat across from me.

"What time are we leaving?" She asked.

"In an hour, that way we can stay with Elena for a bit." I answered.

"Ok, I'm gonna get ready then." She said getting up.

We walked up the sidewalk to the hospital that we all grew so familiar with.

I opened the door and held it for the others. Once we all got in we went to the elevator, and pressed the 4 button.

We walked down the hallway to the room 77C. Everyone chose a seat around her beside. We stole chairs from other room's, because when we first came there was only one.

Now we have six chairs. One for each of us, though I usually lay beside Elena.

Since we've left the house, everyone has been silent. Jamie is usually the one to speak up and cheer all of us up, but I think she understands the seriousness of this situation.

My right arm was tucked around the back of Elena's neck, almost like a pillow.

My left stroked her face gently, as I studied her kind facial features.

I missed her.

Time flew by and next thing I know I'm sitting in a hospital conference room, waiting for news on my daughter.

The anxiety churned in my stomach and my heart was beating hard.

I kept telling myself I was doing this my daughter's and the girls.

The four doctors walked in, three were coma specialist, and one was her daily care doctor.

They sat around me at the large, shiny, white table. They introduced themselves as Dr. Romand, Dr. Callison, Dr. Markson, and the doctor I see everyday Dr. Joxco.

Dr. Joxco pulled out a piece of paper from the manila folder he brought into the room.

He handed it to me and then he handed a larger copy of it to Dr. Romand, which he placed it on a white board.

I looked at the paper in my hands and saw a black and white X-ray of a brain.

Dr. Callison said, "As you can see, this is an X-ray of your daughters' brain. We've not found any internel damage on the brain, but as you know we have been running multiple test about how it has been working."

I nodded as Dr. Markson handed me a graph chart, the month's were typed on the bottom and the percentaged's were labeled on the left side.

I frowned and looked at them confused.

"What's this?" I questioned.

"This is how much activity her brain has had over the last three months. Every three weeks the activity has lowered by at least 4%." Dr. Callison explained.

"But," Dr. Romand interrupted, "These last 4 weeks her brain activity has deducted by 9%. This is what has been concerning us Miss. Nelson." He finished.

I looked at the paper and saw that is was more serious than I had thought.

I should've known this was gonna be bad. This is terrible.

The four men looked at each other unsure, then they focused their eyes on me.

Dr. Callison sighed, "I'm sorry to be the one telling you Miss. Nelson but, if her brain activity doesn't improve in a week then," he sighed and looked at me apologetically, "we're gonna have to pull the plug on her, or else she would suffer. The brain has to work in order for her to live because it sends signals to the heart telling it to work."

Tears brimmed in my eyes and I was shocked, my baby girl might actually die by the end of the week, and I had no control over it.
