Shaylin's POV:

I was on my way to Los Angeles, California to meet Dave Franco and I was so excited. We were about to land and I couldn't wait to get off. Not because of Dave, because I have a doctor's appointment to make sure my baby's okay. I was a little freaked to go on the plane because I didn't want to risk anything.

***

I quickly got off the plane and looked for my ride. I saw a man holding a sign saying Horan and I smiled.

"Mrs. Horan?"

"Yes."

"Right this way." We walked out and got into the car. "Where to?"

"Dr. Garrity's Office, please."

***

"I'll be out in an hour." I said getting out.

"I'll be here."

"Thanks." I walked into the office and up to the front desk. "Appointment for Shaylin Marshall_."

"Yes, take a seat."

I sat down and picked up a magazine.

A couple minutes had passed and a nurse finally came out. "Shaylin?"

"Yep." I got up and followed her down the hall.

"Right in here." She said pointing in a room. I walked in and sat on the bed thing they have in there.

She closed the door and started filling out a clipboard. "So you just want to check on your little one?"

"Yeah."

"Okay. Well just wait right here and the doctor will be with you soon."

"Thank you."

She walked out and the doctor immediately walked in.

"Hello, Shaylin."

"Hi, Dr. Garrity."

"How are you?"

"Good, just hope this little guy is too." I said rubbing my tummy.

"I'm sure it's fine. Let's take a look." I laid down and he turned off the lights and turned on the projector. "Just lift up your shirt so your stomach is visible."

I did so and he put this really cold gel on my stomach. He took a glowing stick thing and rubbed it over. I quickly closed my eyes.

"Don't want to see your baby?"

"Not yet. Is it okay?"

"Just fine. Heartbeat and everything."

"Yay."

"I turned off the projector." I opened my eyes and he turned the lights back on. I took a tissue and wiped off my stomach. "You have nothing to worry about."

"That's great news. Thank you, Dr. Garrity."

"You're welcome." We walked out and to the desk. I paid and turned back to the doctor. "Tell your father I said hello."

"I will. He misses you. He hates that you moved all the way out here."

"I miss him too. You two can come visit anytime."

"Thank you. Goodbye."

"Bye, Shaylin."

I walked out the door and went back into the car.
