Lifeless bodies. Blood. The violent aftermath. A tragic love story at its conclusion. It had been only a few weeks and look where they were now.

Once Vivian the brick was free, she had explored the yard around her and found a small mouse.

"Who are you?" Vivian asked the mouse.

"My name is Paola. I'm a mouse," the rodent responded.

"What are you doing out here, in the night?" Vivian questioned.

Paola the mouse had smiled, her beady black hole eyes twinkling. "For the first time, I'm free," she whispered.

Enchanted by Paola's eyes, Vivian responded with a quiet "So am I."

And instantly they connected. They spoke about the confinements of their past lives, their uneasiness about breaking the social standards, their fear and excitement for the future. They poured their hearts, their souls, their trust in each other (Note that they trusted each other. Particularly, Vivian the brick trusted Paola the mouse). By the third day, both the brick and the mouse had fallen in love with each other. And for the next couple of weeks, they wandered together, loving and trusting.

Until one fateful day, there was a prank. Paola, along with her other friends called Nathalie and Fannie (who were both scissors), had tricked Vivian the brick into believing that all her love was for naught. Paola acted as if she didn't know Vivian, the brick she had spent weeks bonding and connecting with. During the reveal moment, Vivian glared at the mouse and the two scissors, who were laughing.

Fuming with rage, Vivian said, "You all better watch your backs; you never know when it'll start raining baseball bats and you'll get hit by one. Watch out the next time you eat your ice cream because as they say, revenge is best served cold and you never know if I might've spiked it with something unpleasant. The next time you see me you better watch out because surely the last thing you'll see before you die is my brick corner."

Paola, Fannie, and Nathalie had brushed her threats off and continued with their laughter. If only they had known how their "clever" actions would've brought about their ends. Maybe they would've held their plans back, but they couldn't, they didn't. And they would pay the price.

The very next day after the prank, Vivian gathered all of the tricksters together. She smiled a sickly sweet smile and smacked all of them with her top right brick corner.

"TAKE THAT!! ROCK BEATS SCISSORS!!" Vivian yelled as she hit Nathalie and Fannie the scissors.

"I TRUSTED YOU!!" she screamed as she hit Paola the mouse.

When she was done, the only thing left was Vivian. Lifeless bodies. Blood. The violent aftermath.

A tragic love story at its conclusion.
